I'll write a more detailed description of this deck later but a overview:
This deck is very tempo-based in the early game, attempting to answer enemy minions with efficient trades and spells like kill command, while also flooding the board. In the midgame, focus is more on control than playing minions on curve, and in the late game the focus returns to having a full board. Kel'Thuzad was a late addition when I realised that N'Zoth, the Corruptor, Call of the Wild and just the general playstyle of this deck allows for a full board fairly easily. If your opponent has no answer for Kel'Thuzad, which is actually quite likely once they've been answering all your deathrattles and N'Zoth, you can quickly snowball into winning the game.
This deck has reduced in power level since Wild has had more meta snapshots and aggressive decks have become more popular. As a deck with no recovery, hyper-aggression puts you in a really bad position. I was thinking of making a Reno Jackson version of this deck, but it really relies on consistency. I may put in Antique Healbot or Mistress of Mixtures instead.
Sorry, but this deck is really... UNDERRATED! I played some decks with it, and even through it seems that Kel'thuzad and N'zoth seems too much; Kel'thuzad is quite insane in this meta.
Everybody complains about Jade Druid and yes, the meta is full of it, but this decks WRECKS jade druid so hard in the lategame, that's you really want to concede because how unfair the combo is. If at least a Sludge Belcher stays on board, and you get Kel'thuzad, and you even manage to kill it off, you practically won against Jade Druid. And with this deck it normally don't is only 1 minion that stays alive. And Webspinner is also really a MVP in this deck; after the 4th kill off, and gaining King Cobra, Fierce Monkey and another Savannah Highmane, the enemy could only concede.
You only need a board, kill everything off, and then resurrect the full board, and you have N'Zoth light. And then you have also N'zoth himself, so if the enemy isn't dead already, he will be after N'Zoth.
Naturally this deck also has it's weaknesses (winning against pure aggro warrior is quite hard), but for now i'm pretty happy about this deck.
Wow, thank you! I'm glad you like it! I agree that Kel'Thuzad is a lot better than people think, especially with deathrattle hunter's numerous tools for keeping a decent board.
What are your thoughts on the deck's survival abilities? I haven't been playing as much recently as I struggle quite badly in the early game. Do you think it's worth adding some healing or have you been coping well?
No, and i don't think it needs it. Making this deck defeating Pirates would need a lot of rework and it wouldn't be the same deck anymore. But for now there are so many non-pirate decks out there too, and therefore it's better to keep it that way.
This deck is really a great counter to reno decks, control paladin and jade decks, especially jade druid, and better keep it that way and play another deck if you face too many pirates.
