Hi guys! Here is Bane again. 11x legend player from italy. This month i 'm playing in ladder legend with this fun deck and i have nice results with it reaching top180. Proof:
Thanks to all for the upvotes. Gl all guyz!
Goyan'zoth guide and mulligan strategy:
General mulligan vs any decks:
Innervate,Raven Idol,Wild Growth, Barnes
General mulligan vs fast decks:
Innervate, Living Roots, Raven Idol, Wild Growth,Wrath, Feral Rage, Fandral Staghelm (if u have some good early cards),Swipe sometimes, Barnes.
General mulligan vs slow decks:
Innervate, Raven Idol, Wild Growth, Fandral Staghelm(if u have some synergies), Barnes, Nourish sometimes.
Goyan'zoth Matchup advices:
In this section, I’ll give a few quick tips on how to play in the most popular matchups.
Shaman:
Hard matchup but not impossible.Try to not die in the early turns. Hard mulligan for a good early game (Innervate,Living Roots, Raven Idol, Wild Growth, Wrath, Feral Rage,Mulch(for 7-7 shame), Fandral (with good early cards) ,sometimes swipe, Barnes.
Try to stabilize the game, think to the future turns and in which mode u can counter the shaman oppo. Try to have always an answer for the 4 mana 7-7, like Mulch or swipe+wrath. Try to clear always the board.Remember always that the first thing to do is to take advantage on the board then we can start to think to our Hp maybe with a Feral Rage.
Pirate warrior:
Hard matchup but not impossible, depend a lot on the early draws. The mulligan is the same mulligan that u have vs shamans but in this case u have to put even more attention to ur hp.
Look for Innervate, Living Roots, Raven Idol, Wild Groth, Wrath, Feral Rage(for berserker and Hp), Swipe sometimes, Barnes.
Always clear the board. If u're able to arrive alive around turn 6 with a feral rage and board advantage probably u will win.
Dragon priest:
Good matchup. Mulligan for Innervate, Raven Idol, Wild Growth, sometimes Feral Rage, Fandral if u have some good early cards, Barnes, sometimes Nourish.
This matchup is not too difficult but if the priest has a good start this can complicate the match so try to control always the board and ramp too much.
Priest has only one SWD and one entomb or two SWD so they can't resist too much to ur big minions. Put pressure and when u know they can't protect themselves no more play N'zoth and enjoy the win.
Renolock:
Normal matchup. Mulligan for Innervate,Raven Idol,Wild Growth, Mulch (for Twilight drake and Mountain Giant on turn 4),Fandral Staghelm, sometimes Nourish, Barnes. The key to win here is ramp. Put always pressure to the oppo. Try to induce ur oppo to play twisting neither before N'zoth. Hope that they don't draw their Kazakus to polymorph ur big guys.
Miracle rogue:
Bad matchup. Like usual Valeera can easily kick our ass.
BBBBBut...we can try to stop her. Mulligan for a good start. Innervate, Livin Roots(for little pirates),Raven Idol, Wild Growth, Wrath(for Si7), Feral Rage, Mulch(for a Big Edwin Van Cleef or Questing), Fandral(with good early cards), Swipe, Barnes.
Ramp, ramp, ramp. Sooner u can play ur big minions sooner u win.Try to clear all the minions that u're oppo plays.Don't be too much greedy with ur resources. Try to control the board turn by turn and to stabilize the game. Try to stay always above 16hp.
Reno mage:
Good mu. Mulligan for Innervate, Raven Idol, Wild Growth, Fandral, Nourish, Barnes.
Start to ramp and play ur big minions soon. Always put pressure on ur opponent. Try to induce ur oppo to use polymorph maybe on a Twilight Summoner or a Cairne so ur Rag,Sylvanas and Y'shaarj are safe. If u're able to ramp and play ur big minions soon and before they Kazakus probably u win.
Goyan'zoth druid Combo:
I like this part very much. Is the real reason for which i built this deck.
All little minions + Madam Goya for a big Ragnaros or Y'shaarj.
Remember always that before using the Madam u have to do some good trade with the switched minions(obviously u want that the minion stay alive).
Turn 7: u can roots and switch one sapling thanks to Madam Goya skill.
The most cool combo is this(obv very rare combo but so cool)
Play N'zoth then Madam on N'zoth for a second N'zoth in the deck.
Card replacements:
My advice is to keep the deck like it is but if u don't like something u can write in the comments and i can give u an advice on some replacements.
Hope u enjoy the deck and the guide. Gl all. Bane.
I have all but Madam Goya.... to craft or not to craft, that is the question! Sitting on 10k dust... might have to. Deck looks fun.
After 3-0 I just love it! Thanks!
Any replacement for sylv and rag Kappa
golden sylv and golden rag are pretty good
I guess a decent replacement for Mulch is Naturalize or is the card draw for the opponent just too bad?
And what else do you run?
give them too much advantage, mulch is much better
replace for Madam Goya ?
Maybe try Chillmaw. Good sinergy :)
I replaced her with Emperor Thaurissan. Yet to try it out. Thinking it'll make all these high-cost minions more playable.
I'm disappointed I dusted her. I never thought about being able to play Aviana (w/o Kun) or Y'Shaarj early.
Turn 2: Goya, 2 Innervate, and Y'Shaarj all in hand. Enemy concedes.
Turn 1 if you have the coin. Now that would be something
Isn't it risky to have Y'shaarj and N'zoth in the same deck? Pulling out N'zoth too early robs you of important lategame
I think if it would not matter, cause your enemy might loose anyway it Y'shaarj is on the board. At least in midrange or Aggro matchups.
Perhaps if you were fighting a Renolock or decks that are basically built around the same principle. Renolock is just the perfect example.
Twisting Nether and Kazakus would surely be your greatest threats. You lose N'Zoth to Y'Saarj or Dirty Rat, you'll probably lose. If they get a Brann/Kazakus potion, you're also in trouble. Resurrection and polymorph potions would be a nightmare. If they discount Jaraxus and play him on an empty board, good luck clearing.
Either way, I think Renolock is favored.
Good Gjob?
