when to use auctioneer?
Aya is an absolutely vital component to any Jade deck. I wouldn't recommend playing Jade druid or shaman without her. You can replace mulch with more druid of the claw or ancient of war
Against aggro, it's a 3 mana 2/4 with soft taunt. The cheapest thing you can play with it is 4 mana and you would rather be establishing taunts on 7 mana
Against reno kabal decks, Brann automatically plays into MC tech. Big board swings like that are the main way you lose those matchups. Brann + drake is the only thing that doesn't play into MC tech but I only play one of those, so the synergy isn't there
Thanks so much man. Since Rogue is our toughest matchup, how do you feel about changing -1 Mulch +1 Tinkmaster Overspark? I know it's not as strong as what it used to be, but since we struggle with removal and concealed targets are otherwise impossible for us to clear, I like the idea.
I haven't tried him in my deck but I don't think he's better in Jade druid than just mulch. Being able to target the minion to hard remove is especially important to classes that don't have great removal options (to remove the other minions around the target before using Tinkmaster). Keep in mind that mulch is not only a great card in the rogue matchup, but also in Renolock, most face shamans and dragon warrior as well
Tinkmaster also got worse in MSG because of the prevalence of pirates. Very often, rogues will drop swashburglars and other pirates alongside their Edwins and Questings to buff them. You wouldn't want to turn one of those into a 5/5. I think you are more likely to oppose a rogue board that has an unconcealed threat with small annoying minions on the side than a concealed threat on an empty board
A 5/5 body is quite difficult for a druid to deal with as well. It hits as hard as a tomb pillager and doesn't die to swipe or feral rage
Of course, you are free to give it a go though I wouldn't recommend it. I would be interested in the results
