Hello everyone. Here is the decklist of my very first priest deck ever. I never enjoyed so much playing the class but this version...wow, i gave up my beloved renolock for this one. What can i say? is pretty solid. I have a 61% winrate, with a respectable 37-24. As you can see from the screenshots, 25% of my opponenents were shaman (jade or aggro), and the deck perform quite well against them (10-5 so far), and another 25% were pirate warrior. With them i struggle the most (7-8), but considering i havent teched against aggro, and considering their power i would say i'm satisfied.
Let's analyze better the deck: Reno-Dragon-Inspire. Seems a lot of stuff, right? Well, actually the inspire conponent is quite small. Apart from Raza the only 3 cards with inspire sinergy are shadowform, garrison commander and champion nexus saarad. Why not Confessor Palestress? I only had dust for one legendary, and i thought Champion Nexus Saraad would have been better, considering that before i was also running Auctionmaster Beardo. Plus i can run it also in deck like burgle rogue. But generally CNS is better, and allow the dream combo: CNS, garrison commander, shadowform, aka "10 mana, heal 4, deal 4 damage, get 4 four spells and summon 2 minions". Why not Kodorider? The deck already has so many big drops, comes almost always from behind, so a 6 drop that has no effect on opponent board is not so great. Garrison Commander instead is a must, not only for the combo mentioned above, but even just to heal 4 when we are so close to die, or deal 4 damage to a nasty azure drake that otherwise we couldnt deal with. I made the mistake to dust it before MSOG, but i dont regret loosing 300 dust to recrafting him, he's just too broken.
And now move one to the dragon part. Why not wyrmest agent? I know, i'd love to find a spot for the guy, but i dont wanna remove cards like dirty rat or kabal courier. The other choices are pretty obvius. I think the number of dragon is perfect as it is, is really rare that i dont have any dragon to activate some battelcry.
Why not potion of madness? Dead in hand too many times. Why Holy Fire? After several games i notice that the deck lacked in removals vs midgame minion. Also is a good finisher (opponents most of the time don't see it coming), or in case of emergency, heal for 5 while removing a medium threat is not bad at all.
If you liked the deck please add a like, I will add more notes for mulligan and playstyle if it gets enough :)
