I wanted to make a Warrior deck that was different from pirate aggro (ugh), handbufff (crap), dragon (tired), control (too long), or enrage (never really works).  I had no idea what that would look like until I was getting ready for work this morning, and pretty much this whole decklist just hit me like a Lightning Bolt (or maybe a Crackle)!

I tend to make decks around a combination of two themes, and the two featured in this one are 1) summon creatures for your opponent's side of the board and then use their larger army against them with Mind Control Techs, Protect the King!s, and Cult Apothecaries; and 2) play a lot of taunt minions and finally get some mileage out of Bolster.

I have been surprised by just how well this deck has done in its 1.0 phase!  It may just be successful because no one has a dang clue what I'm going to do next, but I think that the strategy is sound on its own as well.  You can pull off some VERY big turns with this deck.  The key to the really big plays is to hide Brann and Magnataur Alpha behind a lot of taunts to get the most bang for their buck.

You should mulligan for Acolytes of Pain, Loot Hoarders, and Dirty Rats.  Save the Sparring Partners for later in the game when they can be used to pull off big Bolster turns, and when they can be used offensively to hit the minion in your opponent's board that is hiding behind a taunt.

Remember that King's Defender has a Battlecry.  That means that it is affected by Brann's ability, giving you a 3/4 weapon!

Leeroy + Mind Control Tech can swing a match (or just make you cry if you get a Whelp)!

Stall during the early game, drawing cards, and then explode with weird combos that completely swing the game!

This is the first of my decks that I have ever posted on Hearthpwn.  For me, the fun of playing Hearthstone (or any other CCG) is in the art of designing cool decks.  If folks like it, I can post some others, but I thought this one was different enough from what I see played everywhere that people might really grok to it.

Enjoy!
