I had a really easy time ranking up in wild with this deck.
General Mulligan guide:
Keep any one drops. I prefer to mulligan away deckhands because they are very weak on turn 1 but its a personal thing. Also keep war axe. If you have axe you can keep raider, clutist, and/or corsair.
Ships Cannon: This card is tricky to summarize. If you have a turn 1 pirate vs. coin cannon, which is the right play? I personally always went for the cannon. However, it is a greedy play.
The ideal curve is buccaneer/first mate on turn 1, into war axe or raider on 2, into cultist or captain on 3. (coin makes this more complicated: maybe coin kor'kron on 3, etc)
Matchup Guide:
In Progress
Hey! During my games I only faced 1 or 2 egg druids. They are indeed a very difficult matchup for this deck. I faced mainly pirate warriors and shaman. Both were relatively easy matchups, the win going to whoever managed to get and maintain board control. Jade druid and dragon priest should be an easy matchup as long as your hand is decent. The only way I could beat egg druid is by clearing their board before they could get value with buffs, and pressuring face damage. Sorry I can't help more :)
Tried this deck today and started at rank 25 and stopped at rank 12 with 0 stars. Managed to pull 10 win strike from rank 17 to rank 12 and got stuck there. Total score 31/18 63% but keep in mind that I misplayed several times and didn't really focus. Anyhow deck plays well unless you get unlucky with board clear or you fail to draw axe/reaper.
Glad to hear you had a good run with the deck :)
