Greetings Traveler - and welcome to my ''math'' Hunter guide,
We all know that Hunter is one of the weakest (if not the weakest) classes in MSG, so I wanted to try and come up with a Hunter deck that could do some sort of broken stuff (let's just be honest, there doesn't exist a good constructed deck that doesn't do something broken)
After a bit of thinking i came up with the idea of playing Tundra Rhino and Scavenging Hyena with some small beasts in one turn in order to deal enough damage to kill my opponent.
I figured that Emperor Thaurisan would help me play more beasts in the same turn as the Rhino, and would therefore allow me to Otk my opponents.
After playing a bit with the deck i quickly found out that whenever i drew Emperor and had a Rhino and a Hyena in my hand i pretty much just won, so I added a lot of card draw to the deck to get the combo more consistently.

EDIT: This deck is no longer playable in Standard because of the loss of Emperor Thaurissan. - Therefore I have made a Wild version of the deck for those of you that still want to play/try the deck! (can be found here: http://www.hearthpwn.com/decks/836168-one-turn-kill-math-hunter-entering-wild-antonamby)

Tips:
1. Think during your opponents turn: When you have played Emperor Thaurisan and you're about to do the combo you won't have the time to calculate damage on your own turn because of the animation-time, so you have to do it during your opponents turn.
2. Don't be afraid to use combo-pieces against aggressive decks: Against aggressive decks you shouldn't be afraid to play your Hyena's with a Unleash or to play your Rhino with some small beasts to clear up their board, your main win-condition is to remove his board and then kill him or to just run him out of resources.
3. Trading during combo: While doing your combo you can gain a lot of bonus damage from attacking into your opponents minions instead of attacking their face with your small beasts because of Scavenging Hyena.
This is also why i chose to call the deck for ''math'' Hunter - you often need to calculate how you get the most damage out of your minions, sometimes it's correct to play Timber Wolf after having traded all your other beast, just so you will have minions to trade into. :)
4. Use Tracking whenever you have a mana leftover: You should usually just try to use the card as a draw mechanism that can get you closer to your Emperor and other good stuff.
5. Dire Wolf: Remember that you have Dire Wolf Alpha in your deck so how you place your minions can be VERY relevant.

''Tech'' Cards:
Hunters Mark: Tired of losing to Mr. 4-mana 7/7? Well this might be the card for you then - works well with Unleash the Hounds.
Flare: Seeing a lot of Reno Mage? Do they always have Ice Block? Well then.. :P
Deadly Shot: Good card against Big minions.
Doomsayer: Now you can kill your opponents turn 1 coin Totem Golem - Yay!
Coldlight Oracle: While this card is very bad against Aggressive decks it's incredible against Control - It also has Curator synergy.

Let me know what you think about the deck and if I should try changing something - and if you enjoyed it please leave a thumbs up! :)
to weak to be comepetitive even vs ai
No shit, it's obviously a meme deck :D
do you think this deck is good for ranked?
Did you consider updating the deck to make it more playable Wild post Un'Goro? (I assume it won't work in standard after Thaurissan's departure).
I honestly haven't been experimenting too much with the deck since Un'goro launch because I've been playing a wierd non-Elise Combo Priest (along with some other card games), but if people would like a Wild version of the deck I can make that. :)
I remember watching a clip on reddit where a asian dude that played RenoLock in Wild got destroyed by this deck :D
Edit: I have been testing it out a bit in Wild and will update over the course of the next couple of days. :)
Can't win against anything. You don't live long enough to get the combo and if you use your cards to survive...then you can't use the combo and finish.
Dude this deck makes Hunter great again. I just killed a Renolock from 30 health with no Emperor Thaurissan ticks. His own fault tho, he didn't play around the 4 attack Young Dragonhawk with charge...
Not sure anymore after the Small-Time Buccaneer nerf, the deck is very weak to aggressive decks so it depends on what people are going to be playing. :)
I love this deck so much. As a casual player who enjoys messing around at the 15-18 ranks, this deck is great for fun and getting my Hunter golden. Haven't gotten many ranked wins since the Facehunter nerf :(
Emperor can't really be replaced, it's essential to the combo. :/
besides, if you don't have emperor now, you should hurry up and get the first wing of brm asap.
What a fun deck!!!!
Thank you. :)
Didnt like this deck untill I played it about 10 times; this may be one of the most fun decks I have ever played haha. Its great when your opponent has a loaded board when you do your combo and wipe everything then hit them in the face with the hyena. Its a hail mary deck for sure though
Probably weak against pirate warrior, but great against any control. Should win by round 10 every time. You play it right you can take out a big taunt, and still kill by round 10.
Sounds about right. :)
If you get ''the god'' draw you can actually win by turn 7, although it's unlikely. ^^
Normally games end on turn 7-10 (wether you're dead or won) :P
So I decided to create an account here just because I really liked this deck and wanted to upgrade it a bit. Personally, I just don't like the card Tracking, so I decided to try and cut it, as well as use some alternate forms of card draw and damage. I wanted the Azure Drakes to actually power up something, too. So, I decided to try two quick shots. On the turn you unload the combo, these can become one mana 4 damage to the face and draw a card, since you lower the cost from thaurissan and you can empty your (mostly free) hand before you cast it. it's also useful to clear stuff. Then, I decided to try a bit of a crazy thing, and put in one starving vulture and two On the Hunts for the damage and the mastiff. This became a really interesting scenario because I was able to hold back with my vulture until thaurissan came out, and then play the vulture and a bunch of beasts that let me draw cards, and let me combo the next turn. Because of this, I realized i didn't need the slower card draw of loot hoarders and novice engineers.
Here's my list atm, tell me if you see anything you like or need to change:
2x Alleycat, 2x On The Hunt, 2x Timber Wolf, 2x Young Dragonhawk, 2x Dire Wolf Alpha, 2x Explosive Trap, 2x Kindly Grandmother, 2x Quick Shot, 2x Scavenging Hyena, 1x Coldlight Oracle, 2x Unleash the Hounds, 1x Kill Command, 1x Cult Master, 2x Azure Drake, 1x Starving Vulture, 2x Tundra Rhino, 1x Emperor Thaurissan, 1x The Curator
AntonAmby, I hope you like this variation on your deck, and thanks for making it in the first place!
Don't you mean Starving Buzzard? :) - I would recomend using 2x Cult Master instead of Starving Buzzard. ;)
I tried something close to your deck but with Doomsayers, Cult Master and without the Curator. :P
I like having the Tracking because they let me go three cards deeper into my deck for just 1 mana, which means that I'll have an easier time finding cards like Explosive Trap against aggressive decks (and it's rare to get all combo pieces in a Tracking)
I love the Coldlight Oracle. ^^
