Proof of Legend Here
Aggro Shaman is with out a doubt one of the strongest decks in the game but many people play it wrong. I think I can offer what I have learned from my climb to #1 and of course do a little bragging :).
Many people see a 1 drop and keep it because it's cheap. But it's important to mulligan for specific one drops that are good in your match-up and don't forget that other cards like totem golem, jade claws, and flame wreathed faceless are easily game winning and should be kept in some match-ups.
Southsea Deckhand is a one drop that does summon Patches the Pirate so you would think it would be great, but If you summon it on turn 1 against another pirate deck then all they have to do is play a pirate and trade in their Patches the Pirate and you're left with a mere 1/1 on the board and your opponent has the tempo.
Southsea can be kept in combination with Spirit Claws and Jade Claws to take advantage of the charge and it can be kept against reno decks if you have Flametongue Totem for the purpose of countering Doomsayer.. If you play Southsea Deckhand on turn 1 and then they play Doomsayer, Flametongue Totem enables you to kill it.
A 4 mana 7/7 turns out is pretty good. Especially against the classes that hae a hard time dealing with it. Renolock has only Blastcrystal Potion, druid has only Mulch and the occassional Naturalize, renopriest only has Shadow Word: Death, renomage has only Polymorph.
However doing nothing until turn 4 is not going to be good enough to win most games so it's important to realize when the perfect dream curve isn't going to work out and you need to try for 1 drops.
It's also important to realize that this card can completely lose you the game in some matchups. for example versus rogue they can play a minion and Preparation Sap and now they have the board and you're overloaded for 2 mana.
I'll go more in depth If the deck gets enough attention :)
I'm not really comfortable with Finley, too RNG for me. How good is it to replace him with leeroy ?
Finley isn't for aggro only here. You son't win all games by turn 6-7. Life tap can be also useful. Though Leeroy is fine too probably.
What do you think about adding a Jinyu Waterspeaker?
I play a second Maelstrom Portal and it works fine for me
Swapped Sir Finley Mrrgglton and Tunnel Trogg (I don't have those) for White Eyes and Lightning Storm. So far so good :)
Sup guys, I have been playing similar aggro shamans for quite a while so I decided to show some footage of it. Imo you can learn some basics about it, although I am not sure about everything and there are still questions that I am not able to answer and I wonder if someone can (mostly about the 7/7 in mirror matchups + pirate warriors etc.)
Thank you for watching ! Consider liking or upvoting or even subscribing if u liked it :)
See ya
i hit rank 3 with this deck, it is imo the best version of aggro shaman, ive also played other variations with doomhammer or aya blackpaw, but this one did the works.
i have -finley and + a maelstorm tho, since i dont have finley.
Traded my dignity for a fast climb and worked like a charm
Ranks: 19 to 8

Detailed Guide
0) Remove 1 Azure Drake - Add Aya Blackpaw
1) Don't keep Patches the Pirate in your hand
2) Target face
3) Go full braindead and play whatever you have in your hand.
Lol, can't agree more. I try playing reno warlock, I lose to aggro warriors, aggro shamans, and infinite jade druids. I play reno mage, I lose to the same shit. I say screw it and play aggro shaman too. Thanks BEN!
PS: I replaced one Southsea with Aya, draws are really important, and the spell damage too.
Patches is essential for the early-game aggro plays. Even though it can be useful in the lategame too (e.g. with Southsea + Weapon + Flametongue) it's not as crucial for Shaman as it is for Warrior. So if you remove it you better remove the entire or most of the pirate part, and replace it with something else, e.g. more Jade cards or more removals like Lightning Storm. That will make the deck more midrange and weaken it against aggro warrior, but empower against control. As for Thalnos, it's just weapon buff activator and Maelstrom buff + card draw. Feel free to swap it for Mana Tide totem for draws.
10 rank 15matches now - 33% WR.
High Win-rate with this deck except it gets hard countered by dragon priest. To many AoE, Taunts and high health minions.
Thanks for this deck! Been a grind this season and finally switched to this from Jade Druid at rank 7. Made it down to 5 easily from there with this (only 3 to 4 losses).
Much appreciated!

My Combo-Tech Evolve Shaman kept getting face-stomped by pirate warriors at rank 10.
I had most of the cards so I thought I'd try this deck out. My win rate is 85% atm...
Best way to fight cancer is with cancer.
Just felt like posting already but the first two games I played against the direct counters to this deck (Control Mage , Dragon Priest) and I beat them although it being very narrow. Solid deck already.
Shit deck 27-27 (50%) winrate
You're not doing it right.
I think I have almost all cards. Should I join the cancer side or remain on the struggling side?
Actually I am trying with Anyfin paladin for 1st time and I got to rank 7 from rank 13 in 2 days. Amazing. Still no idea how well I am going to do with shammy
Not that brainless. Needs lots of thinking. I also crafted the missing cards for a WHO GOES THAR shaman deck but I'm afraid to ladder with it
