Got destroyed by Jade shaman to the point of uninstall, however we all know this won't beat meta decks this is just for fun. I would say the change of putting in crate to buff the rat early on was a smart one. I had at least 3 games with a buffed rat thanks to that card. Also sunfuries are too slow and doesn't help vs any of the shamans, so I added an extra crate plus a timber wolf for the tundra rhino+rat pack deathrattle combo.

Just make sure you are prefacing the fact that you were lucky in those matchups. Those results are *NOT* typical. I am glad you did well with it, but too often on Hearthpwn someone reads this and thinks that it "owns" those classes. Those are the exception not the rule. However I hope that most people playing this deck like myself are doing it for either fun, or because they need the beast quest. If you want to hit legend, I suggest you run a tier 1 deck like aggro/jade shaman, reno mage, pirate warrior, etc.

Just played 10 games with this real quick(haven't played much on my main account this season, so still low ranked) I didn't like the idea of Sunfury Protector or Cult Master. So I switched those for a pair of Defender of Argus and Dire Wolf Alpha.

I know 10 games is hardly a sample size, but regardless. I went 7-3 and had quite a bit of fun! 

I've been having a great time playing my hunter again.  It's been strong in every match up.  8-2 from 16-13.  Thanks for the deck!

How would you feel about putting in Leeroy Jenkins? 

We need to rebuild more in Face version for Leeroy Jenkins.
In this Pirate META is 100% lose to have him in starting hand vs them.

Now it feels like a more generic mid-range hunter with no turn 1 plays... Don't like it anymore =[

Sunfury Protector assumes you won't have your board cleared over and over. Which I'm not sure it's ever gonna be the case.

I still feel Savannah Highmane is too slow right now and every slower deck has a way to CLEANLY deal with this and make you lose a LOT of tempo. Sap, Polymorph, Potion of Polymorph, Entomb, Hex, Aldor Peacekeeper... All of those are huge tempo loss for you and can easily turn the game around against you.

Unleash the Hounds is also pretty weak when everything has at least two health and you have no way of buffing the dogs besides Leokk. If they have a full board unleash will NOT save you. Ever.

Most of the substitutions are weak in my opinion and having to play a vanilla 3/2 or a 1/1 on turn 2 might as well just straight up lose the game.

First version lose all meta decks.
Just Goldfish with buffs can work.
This edition plays better than previous.

A lot of things said, but no suggestion given. I'm curious to know what moves you would make to fix everything that you pointed.

I'd prefer a Powershot over the Shaky Zipgunner.It is really good against aggro,but i wouldn't put in 2 cause there are a lot of reno decks too.I would choose a Call of the Wild over the second Tundra Rhino.it is less situational and gives us a strong board in 1 card.it can also be a good late game burst.thats my opinion. but hunter is trash now(unfortunately).anyway,congrats good deck!

I had a Hunter quest today and decided to run this deck. I decided to just throw in a Highmane in place of a Shaky Zippgunner and it has been playing pretty damn well! Granted I have been playing casual but there are some basic decks I played against. I beat a couple Pirate/Jade Shamans, a Dragon Warrior, Piracle Rogue , and a Reno Priest. 4/6 is pretty damn good. I played this deck last week AS IS and found 2 Shaky Zipgunners a bit too much and just dead cards a lot of the time.

Replace for quick shot?

if you don't have a quick shot, you can't play Hunter

What are mulligans like with this deck?

Is a good deck but a good player using pirates will destroy this deck. Trust me. No chance against pirates

We tried a lot of editions, but there are not one best.
If we add cards for late game - we lose Pirates, if no - lose Controls.
We'll try today to finish this deck. But it seems to hard to play anyway.
At least Hunter is TOP-9. Kappa)
