This is the list I used to climb from rank 3 to Legend. This is a great deck to play right now as:
- all Reno Mages are in a good spot on ladder
- this list in particular does good vs aggro shaman and jade druid
- it is a (fire) blast to play!
The Deck
The Game Plan
Although this deck is a Reno Deck, think of it more of as a freeze mage deck. Instead of just outlasting your opponents, you also have the option of burning them down as fast as possible. Against aggro decks you play like most Reno decks using your great defensive cards (Reno Jackson, Ice Block, Kazakus) as well as some extra protection with your freeze effects (Cone of Cold, Frost Nova). Against slower combo/control decks the goal becomes to burn them down.
An important note: You will get outvalued in long games vs other control decks. This deck does not run the usual slow cards (Bran, Manic Soulcaster, Dirty Rat, and all the discover minions).

(30%) Dragon Priest
This matchup is winnable, although very difficult. The key is drawing your Alexstrasza early on, as well as enough burn to follow her up. Most dragon priests only run their hero power for heal, although some do run an Alexstrasza of their own. Be careful of playing your minions, try to give the dragon priest as little draw from their northshire cleric as possible.
