This deck is ok. Got to rank7 with it but had to switch to aggro shaman because it just works so much better than this. Fun deck but not competitive.
Love this deck, am having lots of fun with it. Its surprising good against the current meta. It does well against Aggro and Midrange, and Control as well. You can beat the Reno decks pretty consistently too.
The only change I made was to cut N'Zoth, the Corruptor for Sylvanas Windrunner. I routinely got Mistress of Mixtures, Loot Hoarder, and Bloodmage Thalnos with my N'Zoth making it not that great.
Dont know if i'm really out of luck, but with this deck i went from rang 11 to rang 15.
White eyes is too late, i never got the 10/10, and this deck has not enough early. 25% winrate with this deck, vs 60% with "normal" jade shaman
:(
Yeah kripp is playing at rank 15 mostly :)
can someone give me one reason to play this list over the tier1 aggro shaman nowadays if you are looking for most success on ladder ?
fun ?
ok good one ! :D
I was stuck at rank 15 for a while, but I'm close to getting rank 11 with a few hiccups along the way. I was using Sylvannas as a replacement for Aya (don't have yet), and it wasn't working out too well for me. There were many times where Bloodlust would have saved me, or ended the game, so I ended up taking it over Sylvannas, and it's worked well for regaining board control against large minions when I have small golems/totems and no spell removal, or ending the game as early as turn 5 or 6. I've been having the most trouble against Miracle Rogue (0-2) and Freeze Mage (1-3), but most other matches are very winnable. Aggro decks can be trouble also if you do not draw removal and heals.
This deck is really damn good, and the best part about it is...it's probably the future of Shaman, snce thee only card that it will lose with the coming rotation is Brann.#
Also, for once Kripps N'zoth special isn't just in there for shits n giggles.
I've been playing this deck for the past couple of days and could reach Rank 5 without any trouble at all. The worst matchup is (in my experience) miracle rogue. You definitely need to swap N'zoth for an Argus, you'll need those taunts. Also think about swapping one loot hoarder with a healing wave, saved my ass a lot against Pirate SMOrcs.
what to do when ur white eyes gets hexed? unless u draw aya ur nzoth sucks, and then u lose because u lack value.
Shaman can be a tough matchup. Try holding off on White eyes and baiting hex with your golems. If you can draw him early, a turn when your opponent is overloaded is a good opportunity as well.
I love this deck. I'm 16-7 around rank 15, beating all sorts of meta decks.
I've been hunting down any unique decks that seemed ladder worthy or gave me a reason to craft cards. So when I saw this, I jumped at the opportunity. It was similar to a deck, I made earlier on after the expansion. My deck did well against the pirate onslaught but had a miserable win rate against Reno decks and Dragon Priests. I must say Krip's deck, excels where mine failed and even does a little better against aggro. If you don't see how this deck beats control, then I suggest trying it out before making assumptions. It's actually surprisingly good against control.
11-3 with this deck (2-1 in casual), almost climbing back to rank 5. Don't worry, I'll tank it again when I try something else.
I felt the same way about Fandal Staghelm when he didn't see much play at first.
