Adding stats from nearly 50games played on top10 eu - http://prnt.sc/di2c74 so some people will stop hating on some cards due to matchups they just dont know how to play (like reno or priest) which is almost unlosable)
Ysera is good in dragon priest/reno stuff meta
Evolve for Ysera is sweet.
Bloodlust and Storm suck.
Phahaha implying NA knows anything about anything.
I think it is more of a play style difference. I don't see one better then the other they just play differently
Being first is nice, but it doesn't really matter case and point? Apple isn't the first computer ever made nor will it be the last, but they're doing pretty well and the same goes for intel. Do you think the first Video Game ever made is all that important? First is nice, but sustainability has shown to be far superior/important then being first. Same principles apply to life. If you're the first to create or do something, that's nice but it's far more important/critical to show sustainability*
Would love to hear you disagree with or point at flaws in the above statement.
Look I'm not trying to say that one country is better then the other, I'm just trying to show the level of ignorance that was posted in that guys post to discredit NA entirely and the level of assumption he brings in when he groups all of NA as being subpar... I don't intend to say that NA is the best or better then anyone else but I will stick up for NA to a degree and try to bring in awareness to lower the level of ignorance that is being brought. In truth the only way to lower the level of ignorance is through education. So with that being said I appreciate you telling me that the first PC was created in Bulgaria I did not know that and now I know. I had originally thought that the English man who cracked the Enigma Machine made the first Computer but I guess I was wrong there.
This deck is super cool as is, but... the opening hand draws are hard to work or I have shit luck because I'm getting +4 mana cards constantly even during discards and redraws. However, stick with it between the taunts and the heals you should be able to make it to turn 5-6. In the current meta it seems like an eternity to get to turn 5-6 (I'm not crazy when I say that right?)
The big trick with this deck IMO is to know when and how to utilize Evolve and pray they don't have board clears. I believe once your minions are weak heal them by throwing evolve on them, but... make sure you don't do evolve on death rattle cards* I had one of my Jade Chieftan cards transform into Rangaros the light who then healed me to full, incredible RNG. Anyways thanks for this deck incredibly fun and different way to play Shaman from what I've been seeing.
I believe with Shaman and with the totem you want to litter the board with your minions and totems and maybe evolve them but* the board clears are so brutal... Do I have this wrong? Suggestions/comments would be greatly welcomed and appreciated...
Got tired of doing 50% win rate w/ discolock.
Just went from rank 16 to 9 with NO losses with this deck. It's amazing.
Quickly becoming my favorite deck, works against almost all meta decks right now.
Two changes I made:
-White Eyes -- Don't have, replaced with bloodlust (would run if I had it)
-Maelstrom Portal -- Think 1 is enough. Even against pirate warrior usually it's early jade claw & totem golem that's more effective in keeping tempo. Also with double jinyu and thing from below lets you last longer.
+Bloodlust -- Honestly won me 50% of the games. Tried w/ and w/o and I still like it with. Still debating.
+Finders Keepers -- Cheap draw, activator for tunnel trogg, there are only a few overloads and they are strong, so you can really find what you need most of the time.
Key cards of this deck / how to use (imo)
Evolve -- GREAT late game comeback esp w/ many battlecry minions. Very underrated card imo. Make efficient trades then regain all board control.
Brann Bronzebeard -- not game winning (would be first to switch out), but some good synergies here. NEVER use alone.
Jinyu Waterspeaker -- ran w/o this for a while, and was losing to all kinds of zoos. the double heal is great. key card imo
Aya Blackpaw -- spent 1600 of my 1700 to craft it. it was worth it, crucial to all jade decks
DON'T NEED:
Feral Spirit -- I tried a deck w/ 2 feral + 2 lightning storm, was winnnig only ~50%, then realized overload +2 is just way too slow, esp. turn during 3-5. plus with double jinyu + taunts you generally are okay against zoo decks
Lightning Storm -- Again, at first I looked at this deck and thought, how can you not have this card. Turns out you win fine without it. maelstorm is enough for zoo, and for control decks 2~3 or (3~4) is not worth the overload.
got old version with Ysera and 2 healing waves instead Waterspirit ( dont have any .. yet ) . If RNG is on your side and some of your big minions are still in the deck , this trun on concede shaman. From 20 to 12 for one night :O
I love Bloodlust too much to try anything without it Lol
wisp bro wisp
Maybe Bloodlust or another flametongue totem, if you have rangaros it's good too
Is there any replacement for White Eyes? i don't really have the dust, maybe ragnaros?
I played that new 4/5 with taunt, but then I made White Eyes and I will say: he is well worth it.
Hi Guys!
I'm a new HS player and chose not to buy the League of Explorer Adventure Pack. Any suggestions on what I should replace Tunnel Trogg and Brann with?
Buy it dude. You will miss out not having it... you have been warned
For 2 months, than it will rotate out won't it?
It will be good until about March/April is the best guess. However the cards still are awesome to play in Wild. I recently got super sick of the Standard Meta before MSoG, so I actually used a bunch of dust to go and play in Wild, because everything is different there.
You might regret spending the 20$ come March, but the you in a year will thank you
I'm sorry to say this but I think you cannot afford this deck. But hang on there! A new adventure is coming out soon and a LOT of cards will rotate out of the standard format, including League of Explorers.
Any replacement for Aya Blackpaw ?
Aya Blackpaw is staple in EVERY jade deck, so no..
