Tempo Dragon Priest

Hi, I bring you a counter deck to the Pirate Warrior and greedy controls (like Jades and Renolocks), similar to your everyday dragon priest but with consistent techs to raise the winrate. Would you like to achive Legend without selling your soul to Pirates or Jades?

This deck is for you! With any effort I climb to rank 5 and now I'm going for Legend.

I will upload the stats (about 75% winrate) and maybe a video or pics later, but for now I can help a bit with some explanations (for those who may need them).

Matchups

• Against Control (Jades and Renos mainly) you play like a Zoo deck, where you are the aggressor and if you have a good curve something like coin+ooze in turn 1 to start making damage is fine.

Then you replenish your hand with Power Word: Shield, Northshire Cleric + heal, or combo with Holy Nova.

Also Netherspite Historian and Drakonid Operative give you burst damage or threats for the late game (Excelent alone, OP with Brann).

But in this matchups sometimes is good to keep Brann to combine it with Blackwing Corruptor for a fireball direct damage. Remember, you will not win the value game in long games, This. is. TEMPOOO!!

• Against mirrors generally is the same, if you can pressure enough you win, because Dragonfire potion is not so great against us. But you have to take into account that if they run more removal, minions with 4 attack and late game, they will outvalue you, so go for the zoo style. Try to fill board and don't just go for big drops, or a Shadow Word: Death could really be your death. Save removal for thier taunts.

• Against aggro (Mainly Pirates, but who knows...) obviously you mulligan for early drops, but if you have coin or a good hand you can keep Twilight Guardian for an early dragon enabler and taunt.

In this matchup, Northshire Cleric can be an MVP, because trade with almost all one pirates 1 drops and can allow you to reach your taunt earlier.

Don't be afraid to heal your minions if that make them survives, unless you are at low HP. Having board pressence and draws into your techs could save you more than a turn 2 hero power and emote.

Obviously, the Acidic Swamp Ooze and the Priest of the Feast are that techs. They are top tier against PIrate aggros (60% of the ladder), good enough against Jades (20%) and average against Renos and mirror (last 20%)

If you are facing a lot of the last, you can change them for Entomb, Ragnaros the Firelord and Alexstrasza, or better dragon synergy with another Twilight Drake, Book Wyrm or a Dragonfire Potion

• Try to learn the matchups, which can wipe your board or easy removal your minions and which not, when you can or must SmorC (even leaving a Emperor Thaurissan alive) or when combos can hurt you (like only leaving a 2/2 against renolock on turn 4 could mean a Power Overwhelming + Shadowflame on turn 5, face combos like Leeroy or Mortal Strike (if warrior below 13 HP), etc.).
