Strategy
- You want to start off the game on the right foot ideally with Mistress of Mixtures or Jade Claws.
- Start ramping up your Jade Golems right away and build up some board presence.
- Try to use Evolve, Devolve, and Master of Evolution efficiently. Wait for a decent board that will get a lot of value for either one. Remember to trade or otherwise use your minion(s) before you evolve them, and aim to use the effects on mid to high cost minions. Sometimes it may be acceptable to use it on just one or two minions, though. It depends on the situation. Devolve can get you out of many sticky situations, and make them slippery instead.
- Be aware of the mana costs of minions that exist in the game. Remember you can not Devolve Arcane Giant or Mountain Giant for example, because there are no 11 mana minions in the game.
- Decide how you want to use Brann Bronzebeard there are several purposes for this card. You can combo it with Jade Claws, Jade Spirit, Jade Chieftain, [/card]master of evolution[/card] and Aya Blackpaw for example, or any sort of card draw also. You could potentially draw cards as well.

Card Breakdown
Card | Words |
Evolve | One of the key cards of this deck that forms part of your strategy. Try to use it efficiently on mid to high-cost minions for best value. It may be fine to use it on fewer minions at times, use your judgement. |
Devolve | This is a unique form of removal and a very powerful tool to screw with your opponents. This can completely scramble their board an reduce it's value at the same time. |
Jade Claws | This is a really cool weapon and i like it more than i thought i would. It's nice to have the damage available and it's a great card to initialize your jade golem progress. |
Bloodmage Thalnos | This is a very solid and valuable classic legendary. The draw will help cycle and the spell damage will help with clearing the board or lethal. Just make sure you do not evolve it! If you don't have this you should strongly consider crafting it. |
Lightning Storm | This is your only aoe that does damage, so use it carefully. Don't forget about spell power. |
Far Sight | The main purpose of this card is to cycle, but the discount it provides can be unexpectedly amazing by enabling some exciting and powerful evolutionary shenanigans. |
Hex | A very powerful removal tool that you will want to save for really threatening targets or hard to clear minions. |
Jade Lightning | This is a really nice damage spell. I like the 4 damage and i love the jade golem. Very nice tool. |
Master of Evolution | This is a card you never want to have in your mulligan, but otherwise it is a very strong card. You will want to have a decent target and try to get full value out of that target before you re purpose it. |
Jade Chieftain | This is a very powerful card with awesome synergy. Aside from the obvious battlecry synergy, this 7 mana body is a fantastic target for evolution. |
Jinyu Waterspeaker | This is a fancy new healing card for shaman and it is actually pretty decent. Previous I had been using Mistress of Mixtures, but the 1 mana minions feel bad in this deck and the battlecry can combo with brann bronzebeard. |
Brann Bronzebeard | One battlecry is good, why not two?! |
Maelstrom Portal | This is a good, flexible spending which should aid you with full boards. Try to get spell damage first. |
Jade Spirit | This contributes to the jade golem effort and is a reasonable combo with Brann Bronzebeard |
Azure Drake | This is a pretty straightforward inclusion. |
Doppelgangster | The main purpose for this card is to combo it with evolve and get 3 6-cost minions. Pretty exciting combo! |
Aya Blackpaw | Definitely an auto-include, in my opinion, for any jade golem deck. I really enjoy this card and it can spawn some great tokens to fight for the board and evolve as well. |

It's not too important to the deck but it is nice to have. You could get away with another maelstrom portal or a bloodmage thalnos. You could go in a different direction too and perhaps try another doppelgangster or thing from below. Things from below may be good.

Hmmm but maybe coldlight oracle will give me a better winpercentage against warlock. One issue though druid crushes me right now and will crush me more with coldlight i think
That's true it could very well help druid with there cycling game, but they also have a lot of draw themselves. So you could be sneaky and wait until they draw a bunch of cards, then burn some :) That's pretty much what i do to warlocks. I actually milled a renolock today and it felt so good. He used back to back board clears and i still just came right back on the board with golems lol. Fun stuff.
I know it doesnt sound perfect but hear me out... BloodLust i fucked up warlock and druid on turn 6
Now I just have to figure what to put in order to not get wrecked by pirate warrior

Thalnos is good. I actually decided to go with him again over ancestral knowledge. Far sight is good for cycling and setting up combos. You won't miss one too much though.
I think you need 1-2 Maelstrom Portal in this one, anyways, great deck, very fun and unpredictable. Also Ancestral Knowledge wtf? This takes up 2 of your early turns, how does it help the early game?
I agree about the portal I decided to put one in and it was pretty good. Ancestral knowledge is not for early game draw far sight is. Thanks for the feedback :)
I wouldn't say that it dries up so much as it may fall behind sometimes if you don't get the right momentum. I have made a couple changes to help make it more consistent.
The deck seems terrible. Then I won my first two games (handlock, miracle). Very fun!
After some more play, one thing I have trouble with is AoE & stopping opponents from snowballing. I'm used to playing control shaman with Elemental Destruction, and Devolve/Storm is a lot weaker. Devolve is really neat and unique, and obviously it's incredible for buffed cards (concealed Questing), but it doesn't remove value from the board in the same way that an AoE does. Like you said, it turns sticky into slippery. I'm used to stalling into huge clears, and Devolve is not a clear so much as a gentle wipe. Any advice? I'll check out your replays.
Lol! Thanks I am glad you enjoy it! I did decide to add a portal as a few others suggested. Should help a lot with spell power.
Swapped out 1 Master of Evolution and 1 Lotus Agents for 2 Maelstrom Portal. The aggro matchup is just too bad without it and most of the time master is a win more card. Lotus Agents I feel is just a poor card in general. Azure Drake outshines it immensely.
I think swapping the lotus is a good idea but I won't do the same with a MoE personally. Thanks for the feedback!
Farsight Brann or Doppelgangster, then play Brann + Doppelgangster + Evolve. 4 monsters on turn 6, or wait until turn 7 if you have both evolves in hand.

I have little more then 50% win rate, so for me its not faster deck to climb, but very fun. I have not Brann, which is i think painfull for me. Im sad about Dirty Rat, she always gave opponent nice minion :((. Im really thinking about put her off and put in Totem golem for early game.
Edit: i see now, that you changed 1 Rat for AK. So will try to same and we will see :)
You could do that. I decided to replace one dirty rat with ancestral knowledge for faster card draw. I think Brann would help you out tremendously, it is a great card. Especially in Jade decks.
