Blizzard has zero people who understand the game.  It is why the game is meh.  The decks they build show you why the game suffers badly from poor design.

swapped some cards vs the pirate cancer: -2 Blowgill Sniper, -2 Murloc Tinyfin, +2 Maelstrom Portal, +2 Devolve
I almost always pick Heal with Sir Finley Mrrgglton for that bonus Finja/buffed murlocs value

devolving their turn 1 stuff into wisps and tinyfins is glorious. Finja is actually so fun to play! Wanted to play Jade Golem shaman, but these Murloc shenanigans have stolen my heart lol

You need Cult Master to draw some cards, or +1 Beast, +1 Dragon, +1 Curator

Finja works out if you have the right cards in hand. Turn 5 - Finja, the Flying Star. Turn 6 - Murloc Warleader or Grimscale Oracle. This will hopefully give him enough attack to take down a minion. That being said, I think I like him better in Murloc Paladin, since he can get buffed or divine shield to help him survive another turn. Plus, pulling a Murloc Knight, is such a sweet tempo swing.

Thank god that it wasn't only me thinking it was a terrible murloc setup
