Greetings, travellers, I'm Subrezon, a german legend player. I love creativity in deckbuilding, and I always try something new, and try to make it work. Before the release of Mean Streets of Gadgetzan I will try to fry up a deck for each class that I think has potential AND might be competitive. Feels like the secret synergy reached critical mass in Mage, so I made a Secrert Aggro Mage this time around.

What is this deck?
Explosive starts! Roll over your opponent with Mana Wyrm, Flamewaker and Kabal Crystal Runner, that are protected by Effigy, Mirror Image and Counterspell, that cost (0) because of Kabal Lackey and Kirin Tor Mage and all synegize with one another! Burn your opponent down at the end, as he was blocked by your powerful secrets the whole game.

Why this deck?
I want to see just how broken Kabal Lackey is. :D

Is it going to be "a deck" upon release?
I'm not sure. Mage now has 3 OP 1-drops, but is the secret core strong enough to justify running it instead of the Cabalist's Tome/Azure Drake/Emperor Thaurissan package? The testing will tell.

UPDATE #1: I'm relieved to say that this deck works, and it is amazingly fun to play. It has a positive matchup with Aggro Warrior :D
So, what I experienced from testing:
- Kabal Lackey =/= Kirin Tor Mage. The former is insanely strong, while the latter is very weak.
- This deck can sweep through a hand in 3 turns, so I added a lot more draw in Azure Drake and Acolyte of Pain, and some more value-centric cards a-la Firelands Portal.
- The deck is extremely hand sensitive. No 1-drop on Turn 1 means half the chance to win. No Kabal Lackey or Kabal Crystal Runner, and you are too weak and don't accomplish enough SМOrc pressure.
- Kabal Crystal Runner is bonkers.
- Kabal Lackey + Medivh's Valet = win
- Setting off both Mirror Entity and Potion of Polymorph on a reasonable minion = win (order of play does't matter, you get the original minion and the opponent's minion becomes a Sheep)

So, I hope you enjoyed this one, so stay tuned for more! Don't forget to drop a +1 and to check out all of Subrezon's Theorycraft Series!
