I've taken out Sir Finley and replaced him with Dread Corsair, I never usually have enough mana left each turn to use my hero power, and I just feel the Dread Corsair works better on curve.

That is a good swap. If you end up in a bubble of mirror matches, Dread Corsair is sweet. It basically "time walks" your opponent in the mirror.

Loving this deck, 11-2 so far. Swapped out Leeroy for Argent Commander since I don't have him and don't want to spend 1600 dust to craft him.

replace for Sir Finley Mrrgglton ?

Does this deck not work at all without Patches the Pirate? I have everything other than him and I want to know whether people think he is essential to the entire deck's viability.

Let me state it clearly: it's CRUCIAL for the deck. Without this card you'll lose significant percentage of winrate. I tried without the Patches and it was rather terrible experience. There were so many games where my opponent had several HP left which made difference between victory and defeat.

Anything for 1-2 mana and IMPORTANT: always keep [card]Patches the Pirate[/card] out of hand

Still works, rank 5 right now ( climb from 18, just this deck with some swaps ). Bad matchups are reno lock ( always T6 Reno ) and dragon/reno priests, everithing else you crush. 

how 90% of the decks are renolock at rank 10-13
