Hi guys, i started to play in october of last year and i made legend for the first time in december of 2015, since there i hit legend every season with different decks and i always try it to don't do it with the meta deck at the moment. So this time i made legend with this list in day 8 of the season :D i want to share with you this list so you can crush those annoying shamans out there.
It's a standar control warrior list i guess i just added Bloodhoof Brave and it worked pretty good against shamans and specially against zoos :) i really like it.
I had like a 70% of winrate against shamans so this is the deck for you if you want to beat them. Hope you enjoy it :)
Ok guys, since i got some upvotes i will do a little guide for you :)
This deck is a little tricky to play so if you lose some matchs at the begining just don't give up and learn from that.
Mulligan Guide:
So you always want Fiery War Axe in your opening hand, it's almost a win condition against a lot of decks.
- Shaman: You want to keep Bash and if you already have Fiery War Axe it's ok to keep Slam, if already have some early removal you want to keep Harrison Jones to destroy that shitty broken card named Spirit Claws. Ravaging Ghoul is a good keep if you already have the axe. Also is good to keep Brawl if you already have some early removal plus the Axe.
- Druid: So in this matchup the only cards you want in your opening hand are Fiery War Axe, Acolyte of Pain and Justicar Trueheart if you are confident enough about that druid is a Malygos one. If you know it's a Beast Druid you always want some early removal like Slam and Bash.
- Warlock: So you always mulligan as if your opponent is playing zoo, that mean you have to keep Axe and early removal like Slam and Bash also Ravaging Ghoul is a good keep against zoo. If you are pretty sure that your opponent is Renolock you want to keep the Axe, Acolyte of Pain and Execute so you make sure that you will have an answer for his first big threat.
- Warrior: So since Control Warrior is popular right now you have to mulligan for Elise Starseeker and Justicar Trueheart, those are the most important cards in the mirror matchup. If you are sure about your opponent is a Pirate Face Warrior you just mulligan for Axe and early removal like against the other aggro decks.
- Mage: You always mulligan as if the opponent is Tempo Mage. You want Axe, Slam and Bash in this matchup, Ravaging Ghoul is fine to keep if you already have Axe. Against Freeze Mage is a free win LUL you just hard mulligan for Justicar Trueheart, if you play her in turn 6, they concede EleGiggle.
- Paladin: Welp i didn't see any paladin while i was trying to get legend so i'm not completely sure what you mulligan for, i suppose against Anyfin Paladin, Axe is what you want and Acolyte of Pain so you can draw your stuff to gain armor and get away from the otk range.
- Hunter: This matchup is difficult, they just SmorC you until you DIE lul, you just want early removal and hope they don't draw like GOD and win...
- Rogue: So in this match you want Axe and Acolyte of Pain so you can draw all your removal, Rogue has just a few threats so if you can response against them and save a removal for Malygos you just win in the end.
- Priest: Who plays Priest? LUL
In some matchups it's good to keep Shield Block plus Shield Slam if you already have Fiery War Axe so you can deal with mid range threats like Tomb Pillager, Thing from Below and Fandral Staghelm.
An useful tip for Control Warrior players against some aggro decks and Shamans is that you don't have to spent removals for every threat your opponent has if you are holding Brawl in hand, they will overextend at some point and you can clear eficciently without just throw away all your single target removal, is the same thing with Revenge, if you are sure that u won't die next turn, you can just armor up and pass and wait for a good Brawl and Revenge.
Welp Guys, there are some tips to play well this deck, you can ask for whatever you want and i will reply you the best i can :) Thanks for the upvotes and good luck in ladder guys !

Thanks, and goodluck in ladder :DD
2x Whirlwind and Ragnaros the Firelord or any good card
Most of my opponents were priests and I haven't won a single match. Am I that bad? My treats were entombed or destroyed. The fatique match were won by them since they stole cards from my deck and could survive longer.
no, you are not... It's a very difficult match up honestly, like in the C'thun Warrior matchup, you don't have to draw cards and you have to bait their Entomb... it can be hard, but it will be possible in some games, you have to keep justicar and Elise in those matchups and play golden monkey as soon is possible u.u
you can play the version with 1 Blood To Ichor and Alexstrasza
How to play against C'Thun CW? I lost the fatigue game since he had his Doomcaller + Brann Bronzebeard combo. Save Sylvanas Windrunner + Shield Slam and try to steal it?
Yep u need to steal his c'thun and also be careful that he wont steal it back right after
Also u don't have to draw any card from your deck, you just play with your actual hand and topdecks, just draw a cards when you are about to lose the game if you don't topdeck something :) i saw games where control warrior beats triple C'Thun so it's very possible to win, and is way more easy if you steal their C'Thun.
Sylvanas and shield slam is one of the biggest worries for cthun warrior in the mirror match so that is definitely the best way to deal with c'thun itself (it also makes it so he can't res it with doomcaller which is the biggest thing)
additionally if you get elise early enough you can probably just outvalue him through legendaries
Except that a good player will shield slam his own C'thun. You almost can't win against them.
if you waste shield slam on your own c'thun that's an awful play lol especially in the mirror. Now one of his other big threats wrecks your face instead of c'thun
on top of that it's an 11 mana play so... LOL
After Thaurissan, it's a 9 or 10 mana play. And no, it's not an awful play depending if he has Sylvanas in hand.
In your deck you don't really have any threats that will make him use his 2 Executes + 2 Shield Slam before Golden Monkey.
Would Ragnaros be good enough to swap in for Geddon in your opinion?
almost looks like my version. -1 acolyte +1 blood to ichor. also i prefer fools bane over gorehowl cuz of harrison, ooze and better totem cleaner.
yeah, fools bane is insane against mid sahaman and aggro decks, but gorehowl is too powerful against druids, and it's good vs shamans, so it depends whata re you facing more often :)
There is a question: what's the best Geddon's replacement? I guess ragnaros ?
Ragnaros is fine, you can try Yogg too
ARMOR PASS reckChamp !
Thanks for the video mate ! it's awesome !
