I just crushed some guy playing obnoxious shaman cards (totem golum, faceless) with this deck.
So much fun - had to share. Thank you Ben Brode.
Update - for everyone complaining about dreadstead, I played this brall in the first few minutes. There were no dreasteads yet. So thanks to the community for the pointers with spellbreaker/light's champion.
Obviously the purpose of purify is to attack with the statue and watcher. You could do the same thing with Silence - but I guess no one tried it.
There is a video sent to me of someone playing the deck, if you are a youtube hearthsone junky like me, then click here.
Still works, won on first try. 14/14 Charge C'Thun on turn ten FTW.
Worked for me on 1st try. Thanks!
Replacement: Eerie Statue -1, Humongous Razorleaf +1 (Because Standard).
Yeah, should've mentioned that was the one change I made as well.
is it just me or is this deck missing a few cards? I only count 10.
How can you miss that lethal...
This deck inspired me to create me own when I got the Tavern Brawl quest today. Went 5-0 without breaking a sweat. Check it out here:
C'thun Brawl Destroyer Priest
First try, fantastic. Thanks for the free pack!
I subbed ancient watcher for mass dispell and I rolled a dreadlock, instaconcede after Cthun drop
Build up your C'Thune and you can use your battle cry to win.
Got destroyed by murloc paladin, stuck with a hand consisting of 3 c'thuns and 1 purify for most of the game.
i put shadow madness instead of priest of the feast to counter dreadstead
Played some games with it and have to admit, Purify is awful here. It's so slow, you simply can't get value out of it. And it's the ONLY mean to draw with this deck. Also by turn 10 you oftentimes fall so far behind that your C'Thun can barely make a difference. So after a bit of thought I made a Ramp Druid C'Thun Deck for this brawl and it was waaaay better. Check it out:

5 games, 5 wins, finished my "win 5 tavern brawls" quest and got my free pack, thank you for this awesome deck !
Pro tip: If you replace beckoner of evil with moroes, it's almost bretty god damn gud.
not flawless, but not bad at all. tq.. :)
I don't know why this deck is so highly rated, it isn't really great. A lot of people are playing garbage decks in this brawl so far, but to start with, you 100% have to have a card that deals with dreadsteed. With this deck, you just lose the instant your opponent plays a taunted dreadsteed. The namesake purify is also just not good. The statue and watcher work just fine as big taunts that don't have to attack, and power word shield is a much better replacement.
I'm sure plenty of people have gotten wins with this farming all of the shaman decks, which also aren't good. But there are some scary decks in the brawl that will absolutely crush this.
Spot on.
I think at least add a Spellbreaker would make it an ok deck.
Spellbreaker, Light's champion are in my deck along with nourish lmao so I can actually fucking draw them
Thanks for tip. Cabal Shadow Priest is very useful. It makes great difference.
Some interesting games with this deck!
