Yo, I madea video about this deck. Before playing it you'd better prepare your DISCO RNG, for some sick discards, that can make you ragequit life or make the play of your life. Overall, the deck is really strong, cause it has a lot and I mean a lot of low mana drops that allow you to flood the board freely and overwhelm your opponent with minions. Check out my video and leave a comment or two.
crashb4 Forbidden Ritual is good in standard Zoolock, however, Discardlock doesn't typically run Forbidden Ritual.
Why Demonfire guys?
i would guess he wanted some minion removal from hand because theres no mortal coil space, but honestly i would rather use a second knife juggler instead even if he doesnt run a forbiden ritual
Someone below was asking for a gameplay video, so here ya go! Just finished my recording and currently 3-1 with the deck: VOD Thijs' Discardlock Blizzcon
YT-Player:
Only have one Defender of Argus so, replaced with Prince Malchezaar - figure, cant go wrong with the good prince. Will try it out today...
that is so stupid sorry bro
replace it with a knife juggler instead
I just won 7 games in a row with "thats so stupid sorry bro". The random elite is a nice surprise for me, and an unwelcome one for you. Have a good day!
Everyone can win in rank 25
Dude don't be dumb, Zoo is a fast and extremely refined deck where you mitigate the drawback of Lifetapping recklessly by using cards that flood the board early. Malchezar is a card that is literally meant for decks that try to do the exact opposite by stalling the game to the point of fatigue where the deck playing Malch has 5 extra cards. I guess it's a scrub trap in that people who don't have many legendary cards will think that putting 5 random legendary cards into any deck will just automatically make it better, but that's far from the truth when you're playing a deck that doesn't intend to draw through all 30 cards in the first place and really needs top capitalize on the synergy of the card choices.
Pull your nerd glasses down from your nose a bit and realize that the game is meant to be fun. Ive beaten so many people with prince in this deck today that its ridiculous. It's hilarious suddenly dropping ragnaros or a boogeymonster. Lighten up.
If he enjoys the game with Prince Malchezaar he should use it,
This is a game afterall
Now see, this is how to properly craft a response which TEACHES newer players the value of certain cards over others and the importance of synergy in a deck. Thank you very much for the response, I've learned something. Very helpful, unlike idiotic trolls such as:
Is this an easier deck than c4mlann smorc hunter? Im struggling with that a bit. I play The game since a Few month so i need cheap and easy Decks ;) What rank can u reach with IT?
Legend for sure
If you do the positioning right and take some risks you should be fine
Instead of worrying about ranking focus on the ins and outs of how each hero and their respective decks work.
This is a great deck but you need to mentally change your thinking. In a discard deck you don't worry about what you may discard because the goal is to flood the board with minions. In the rush to flood the board some minions will be discarded. An important minion may be discarded from your hand but the quicker you flood the deck and the more damage you deal the faster you win the game.
Being afraid to play a minion because you may lose an important minion is a mistake that will lead to a loss.
Find a good deck, learn to create decks, and play these decks over and over and over until you know each card inside out. At that point you win because you understand the cards better than most which will lead to better plays in the end.
When cards rotate out if you understand the other cards you can easily replace your lost cards.
I have been experimenting with the same deck just another Knife Juggler for Demonfire. I haven't played that much so far (around 10 games), on rank 8-6, and have been having success with it (only two losses. Super op when Malchezaar's Imp is on the field and you play aDoomguard and/or if you can pull a Silverware Golem with it. I have played against spirit claws shamans, secret and beast hunters, renolocks and control warriors. Against control don't over extend and go pretty aggressive. Against shaman keep the board clear. Only played one beast and one secret hunter. My plan was to trade beasts away, so no synergies and keep as little 2HP minions on the board at the same time as possible. The deck sort of plays itself, but sometimes you have to think ahead. Imp one turn before doomguard, or empty most of your hand before playing a discard with silverware in hand. Positioning is important for defender and use buffs wisely.
