Nice deck by Thijs without Call of the Wild.
Here is analytics by him where he uses statisctic to prove useless of CoW:
This is a pro deck, but i switch a cat trick for explosive trap after facing a warlock swarm deck. And then never played another. It's a good and enjoyable deck/
Did that too ... i was soooo close to quit this game because i was stucked with this shamans ... thats why thijs is twitch subbed *.*
and ty to you , you avoided some loses to figure it out :D ;)
Nice deck for casual play style
Thanks for this deck.
Went from 18 to 11 rather fast (2 losses) wa stopped by shamans there until i changed the following:
-1 Houndmaster
-1 Snipe
+1 Exploding Trap
+1 Unleash the hounds
I'm now at lvl 7 with an amazing winstreak.
As a casual player I've reached Rank 11 at best in previous seasons.
Bro, whats the mulligan of your optimized deck?
The general strategy for the deck against Zoolock is slightly different. You want to trade a bit more because they can trade-up with soulfire and power-overwhelming so effectively. Try and eek out every bit of value with your minions. Once they have to start using hero power to refill their hand you generally look to start pressuring. This forces them to either burst you or die to their own hero power combined with yours. The key to the matchup is counting their available burst from PO, Soulfire, and Doomguard. Try to see if they keep any cards for a while, as it usually signals one of those three cards. Your snipes aren't nearly as effective against them as their minions are either 1,2, or 5 health. I'd recommend subbing one out for an explosive if you keep facing them. Be warned though, snipe is killer against shaman, tempo mage, druid, and rogue. Hope this helps :D
You know what would really make this deck good? Call of the Wild. And some other cards. To replace the cards in it.
I agree man. I play a ton of hunter with secrets and play a midrange and face version. I'm still unable to tell which list is better but I believe the midrange version is better for the current meta. You get the same secret/bow engine in both but one runs argent's and unleash to help seal extra damage to finish quick while the other has barnes, ragnaros, and a 5 drop at times. I've been playing the midrange version as a face deck and having the most success with it that way, since they waste time trading with me, and I almost always can one turn burst them from 10-15 health with bow, hero power, direct damage.
My face version is close to: [S31 Legend#2EU #3Asia] SMOrc Hunter
Midrange version is close to (this): [No Call!!] S31 Midrange Secret Hunter by Thijs
I'd like to hear your thoughts on the two types if you've played something generally like them, as well as if you play any 5 drops.
35-21 (62%)
10 -> 4
Now i'm going to roll control warrior for legend.
King Krush if you have it or a call of the wild
DE'd my Calls pre-nerf.
No ragrets.
If they ever give hunter a smoother curve after 4 and/or in class card draw the Calls will be worth playing again. Until then they just are to slow for what hunter is trying to do right now. It's ironic how little they thought the change to Call would effect the card while feeling like Yogg was dead weight and it's still relatively playable. :(
Well 600 dust is quite a regret, don't you think?
Which deck tracker does Thijs use in this stream? It looks nice.
track-o bot i guess :/
Thanks. :)

Hunter cannot win against shaman anyway...
Wait, is there even a class that can win against shaman?
10th9th class confirmed?reno or handlock does pretty well if you get your boardlears when you need em
