I'm THEORY, an usual legend player on NA sever. This is the decklist that I used to hit rank 2 legend.
It is destroying all the popular malygos druid, control warrior, freezemage and malygos rogue on the ladder atm (>75% win rate), and also have strong match up again the hunter, especially the popular secret hunter(70% win rate). Shaman is used to be a bad matchup, but with the addition of Deathwing, i manage to have an 60% win rate which is amazing.
Very beastly deck for the meta atm.
Also a general tip is that if you could use innervate early, go for it, don't save the innervate. This deck doesn't have lots of drawing power, so the longer the match, the lesser the impact of innervate on the tempo of the match.
About mulligan plan, generally keep 1 drops, 2 drops and innervate. If you have innervate on hand, you also keep 3 drops, especially the druid of the flame.
However, against shaman, i often mulligan hard for thing that could saved me from totem golem. Innervate early is so important in this match up.
Edit 27/10: I am so happy that so many people having huge success with my deck. I waited for the whole month to see, and I can confirm that this deck work great for the meta for everyone with different skill level. I received a message yesterday from Skelag:
"Thanks for sharing the deck. I played a lot with it and i hit legend for the first time! :)
Went from rank 14 to 5 in 74 games (win 50, lost 24 didnt count the wr) and from 5 to legend in 90 games with 58 wins and 32 losses (65% wr). I saw somewhere that creator of some deck wrote list of people that hit legend for the first time with his deck, so if you want you can create similar list :) thanks one more time"
So i will make the list:
Hitting legend for the 1st time with the deck:

Je viens de passer légende avec ce deck à l'instant, merci ;)
Wanted to give you some support for this deck, i've been having a good time since i currently have a 72% 23-9 winrate. I don't know how to put a image here but i'll paste the imgur link for proof
I know 32 games is not a big sample but it's something to consider.
Lost my first two games, and I was struggling to see the strength in this deck. Now i'm 10-3, and it's clear. You need to understand some of the synergies within this deck before you can be successful, but when you do it is a great deck. Well done sir.
I'm going to craft the Deathwing just to try this deck. Thanks for sharing!
How can Azure Drake replace Deathwing? lul
I played this deck quite a bit this month, and it's working great!
Current month 43-21 with this deck (67.2% WR) and still climbing, rank 4 at the moment!
The deathwing is such an important card in this deck, won me quite a few games. Thanks for sharing! :)
THIS DECK IS SO BAD. LOSES TEMPO TO HUNTER AND MIDRANGE SHAMANS AND MAGES OUT THERE. SCRAP BULLSHIT DECK.
If you don't have Ragnaros, I would strongly recommend you just craft it. This card is so good and can be added into literally any deck. It's the Dr. Boom in standard mode. You can't be wrong crafting Ragnaros.
For Deathwing I don't think it's a must-have in this deck, but it's certainly good to have. It often saves the day. Particularly with this deck since this deck has such a strong curve and 5/6 drops, your opponent often used all of their burns or removal on your tiger, warden, druid of the claw etc, and that's where your opponent cry to your Deathwing.
I would recommend Azure Drake or Nourish as replacement to make up the card draw which is lacking in this deck, or just any late game power legend like Ysera.
Corrupted Seer is not a good pick in my opinion since it's body is too weak. This is a tempo deck that capitalize on board value than board clear. You would like to drop a warden that copies your Stranglethorn Tiger in turn 6 although you can't clear your opponent's board. Plus this deck has strong early drops so your opponent should be busy clearing or trading your minions thus your Corrupted Seer might not find much value in most of your games.
I would say both will do, but if you are facing a lot of shamans you might want to go for Ysera (for they have usually used all their removals early on so your Ysera could generate much more value)
You might also try any other legendary dragons like Onyxia or Nefarian if you already have them. But I would say for this deck, Deathwing is the best. In most games you win you don't even need to play it, but it's particularly good in shaman matchup and we all know shaman is everywhere now. But since Deathwing is not quite commonly seen in other decks, you might not want to spend 1600 dust just for this deck. (That's why Ragnaros is super worthy to craft, it's universal!) But if you somewhere later get a Deathwing from opening packs, then be sure to put it into this deck! :)
Messing around with this deck near the start of the season for the Druid daily and found it's pretty good! +1
I've been struggling for the last season to get anything going in Standard. Had to switch to Wild to progress anywhere. Looking at this deck, I didn't think it was much different than any other beast druid, but god damn. This is it. I'm wrecking shit with it.
I had to switch out Deathwing because I don't have him. I put in nefarian instead. I know, I know, Deathwing is a huge part of this deck, BUT!!! Nefarian is fitting just fine as well. Saved my ass a couple times too!
But here's the thing. I often win waaaaay before turn 10.
Thanks for this deck, man. Gave my standard career new life.
I wanted to thank the creator of this deck, I just hit legend for the 1st time ever with this deck tonight and Im very happy.
It takes a little while to get used to it and understand what combos are the most efficient. but it usually destroys shamans which is very satisfying. Near turn 8-9 they lay all their shit on board thinking druids dont have any removals except swipes, and boom, you wipe their over commited board with deathwing. by that time they usually used their hexs and taunts so youre free to chop 12 lifes from them every turn unless they get a lucky taunt totem.
Every cards has its place in this deck, I would advice not replacing anything.
Anyway, using this deck got me to legend with Id say a 70% win rate, its awesome and especially satisfying to get legend with beast druid, a deck type I always thought was sub par.
Can I replace deathwing with sylvannus ?
I don't have Deathwing so I replaced it with Corrupted Seer
Can you write something for each of this deck's matchups. I disenchanted a lot of stuff to get 1600 dust...
It's a tempo deck that has a solid curve so that's expected. You have strong plays, but your options are minimal.
The low amount of card draw actually kind-of synergies with DW so you don't discard too many cards.
If you want a little more card draw I'd advise running finley since you can occasionally get the warlock hero power. Even if you don't he can effectively let you spend 2 extra mana with the new hero power (5 total with old hero power) and he synergises really well with savage combatant. If you have SC on board from turn 4 or if you wait until turn 9/7 with innervate you can get 5 attack damage on your hero on top of whatever the new hero power is. 5-6 damage is enough to clear just about any 5 or six drop in the game protecting your SC for another turn. Finley is a pseudo 5 drop that gives huge benifits and he helps smooth out the curve with the removal of drakes. He can also act as a one drop if you get him back after mulligan or on your first draw so he adds to the early consistency.
On top of all of that he can be picked up by curator.
Your statement have is right and wrong at the same time.
1st, you dont need really lucky to get good curve. In fact, you must have horrible luck if you cant get good curve with this deck.
2nd, yes by turn 10-15 if you haven't win yet , you lose, it's true. But the point of this deck is to finish the game in the first 10 turns.
3rd, i dont feel we need too much card draw from the deck with such consistence of the curve. And also DW is the strongest when you don't have draw in the deck.
How does everyone feel about replacing savage roar with a raven idol? It gives fewer dead draws which is especially good after playing Deathwing. You can also pick up savage roar, souls of the forest, heal or burn damage if you need it; although it is still a chance so you could get screwed on occasion. You'd always want to mulligan it away since it isn't a tempo card and it's good to draw into mid-late game.
With the decent number of dead draws from high cost minions and the removal of some card draw to fit in the DW package maybe this is better?
As an aside, is it possibly worth throwing in one murloc to work with curator? Probably not worth it, but maybe Finley? The savage combatants still work with other hero powers. Bilefin (2/3 stats on 2 bodys + the taunt is actually great late game occasionally) and bluegill (CHARGE) are decent although obviously they aren't beasts. Coldlight Oracle could be good to help reload after DW or just after running out of cards. What would you cut for one if you think it might be worth it? If you put in the coldlight maybe replace the savage roar/raven idol?
How bad is it to run one raven? It's a terrible card late game and you'd still have 3 one drops and the option to coin out a 2 drop 50% of the time. Plus this way you'd be able to save a mark for mid game beasts and copy them or use it on a tiger for a 7/7 copy. It always feels bad when curator pulls a raven out and you already have DW in hand, but maybe the extra consistency of drawing it early is worth the downsides?
Is there a replacement for Deathwing? The only miss
