My goal was to build a brawl deck that could beat anything else.  This is the deck I have been using. This deck has now defeated the murloc deck (3 types), Sinister Strike, Mind Blast, as well as other lesser contenders.

So it's fairly self explanatory.  Actually, mulligan everything to try for warlock class cards that cost 1 or 2.  You only need one Renounce and some of the warlock early game cards are good tempo gain.  This is especially true against murloc decks.

In general, just play well after you Renounce.  Rush decks will require you get a clear spell or a taunt, but the odds are good for that.

Some other decks I tried:

Shifter Zerus - Solid, and usually has something strong on curve, but not as reliable against murloc because you need a big taunt before turn 3 or it's over.

Babbling Book - While you will maintain card avantage, it is hard to finish your opponent off with spells alone.

Swashburglar - Better than the Babbling Book since you get minions too, but still slower than Shifter or Renounce.

Pro Tip: If you have a golden Renounce Darkness all cards it generates will be gold and your hero power will also be gold!
