This is my warrior deck I rushed legend with season 31 EU.
The deck features Leeroy Jenkins for hard burst.
Card swaps: 1- Leeroy Jenkins
1+ Malkorok
1+ Gorehowl
1+ Grommash Hellscream with xBlood To Ichor
But xLeeroy Jenkins has worked best for me <----- Recommended.
1- xFrothing Berserker or Huge Toad
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1st October Rank 17 to Rank 8.
2nd October Rank 8 to Legend.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Mulligan without Coin: xN'zoth's First Mate x Huge Toad xFiery War Axe
Mulligan with Coin: xN'Zoth's First Mate xFiery War Axe xFrothing Berserker xBlood To Ichor
Advise: Play some practice games with it to get a grip of the gamestyle. <-------- Important.
See how u can combo xFrothing Berserker with Fiery War Axe and xSouthsea Deckhand xBlood To Ichor etc etc.
GL!
Update 1: This deck might have some difficulties against some decks out there, but for me it was straight domination stomp to legend. Also, use Sir Finley Mrrgglton hero power choice wisely depending on situation/hero opponent.
Update 2: I often keep xHeroic Strike against shamans for removal of xTotem Golem
Update 3: Sometimes this deck wins you at round 4/5 with good setups like xFiery War Axe xBloodsail Raider xBloodsail Cultist And sometimes you just push your opponent to 12 hp and win at round 8 with a crazy 2x Mortal Strike
Update 4: - CONFIRMED: This deck works in WILD aswell and performs outstanding replace Argent Horserider Flame Juggler Blood To Ichor with 2 x Ship's Cannon 1x Dread Corsair
- This deck is absolute BOSS and is one of the best decks I've crafted and teched with so far!
May The RNG Gods Be With You.
I see you always post most cancer decks of current meta....mindrage shamann or aggro cancer...that must be really fun to play...do you sometimes play just for fun? Yes, this deck is insanely strong, but it can be played even by my cat, just click face, face, face...hope you face only taunt and reno decks...
brainless deck , just fcking SMorc , this shit is so anoying
fck this meta it is facestone
nice deck i just hit legend with it and i had about 64% winrate from rank 5 to legend. so thanks for the deck list keep up the good work.
Mindless SMORC deck. Works if you don't run into any taunts... Feels retarded to play though and requires VERY little decisions to be made. If you can go face, you pretty much go face.
Most unsatisfying deck I've ever ran imo.
Replacement for Leeroy Jenkins ?
Try Reckless Rocketeer
Thanks! Got Legend with this deck for the first time. Good win rate, even though i struggled a bit against shamans. but with a good starting hand and a heroic strike for their totemgolem - no problem! Played Captain Greenskin and a second Argent Horserider instead of 2x Huge Toad. Captain Greenskin had so much value! often played turn 4: coin arcanite reaper > turn 5 greenskin
REPLACEMENT FOR Sir FINLEY PLEASE!
Patches?
I put in a fool's bane to deal with big minions with your face. It also allows you to get down into mortal strike range faster.
Hello, I just wanted to ask would it work if I dont have sir mrrglton?
This deck is AWESOME! I've jumped 6 ranks in 2 days playing not that many matches really. Only problem I have is like shamans who get taunt every turn. If your opponent can throw out tons of taunt your done. Also a few times I haven't been able to pull weapons. Actually had one game where I got to turn 10 and not ONE SINGLE weapon was pulled. That's not the decks fault though it's good old RNG!
Has difficulties against classes that pull all their taunts and freeze mage and secret hunter. Pretty much stomps everything else by turn 6.
This deck doesn't really work since it dies to almost anything while not being able to deliver the fatal blow (at least in the standard EU ladder from ranks 20-11):
Mage: once your opponent puts the Water Elemental on the field and you can't deliver 6 damage to it next turn, your weapons lie dead in the hand since from now on your hero is permanently frozen. Also, Mirror Image will wear down your Arcanite Reaper. And Bloodmage Thalnos + Flamewaker will allow the opponent to nuke you the next turn if you allow any of them to stay on the board.
Druid: Druid of the Claw, Ancient of War, The Curator, Fandral Staghelm, Emperor Thaurissan (these last two don't have a "taunt" written on them, but a primary kill targets) - everything will stop your march after the opponent's throat. And don't forget about Innervate - the magical card which may allow your opponent to put a huge taunt on the board on turns 1-3! And don't forget about healing for 8 for 3 mana: Feral Rage and late-game healing (Moonglade Portal).
Warrior: most of warriors I've played against are control / C'Thun / dragon warriors. Guess what they have? Taunts! Fierce Monkey, Bloodhoof Brave, Twilight Guardian, Crazed Worshipper, The Curator, Chillmaw, Twin Emperor Vek'lor. Along with these taunts, Bash, Shield Block, Ironforge Portal and Ancient Shieldbearer, Justicar Trueheart will stall you up to the point where your opponent is sitting at 3 health with over 30 armor. Today I've received the quest "Deal 100 damage to the enemy hero" and completed it with just 1 fight against the control warrior (I've lost, of course, after about 13 rounds).
Shaman: Stoneclaw Totem (from hero power), Spirit Wolf, Thing from Below, Tunnel Trogg, Thunder Bluff Valiant - all these taunt (and "must kill") minions along with super-effective board clears (Lightning Storm, Maelstrom Portal and occasional hard removal Hex) make it almost impossible to hit your opponent with anything but Mortal Strike since you're bound to fight against his minions.
Hunter: secrets will destroy your board (Explosive Trap) and return your minions to the hand (Freezing Trap), Animal Companion and Houndmaster will provide early game taunts. But mostly you'll be dead by turn 6 because of sticky minions and board clear via spells.
Warlock: zoolock's Voidwalker and Defender of Argus, Darkshire Councilman and Dire Wolf Alpha - there are so many taunts and "must kill" minions that it's hard to focus the fire on the hero.
Resurrect priest and control paladins healing might be annoying, but they usually don't stand a chance against this deck, as well as don't constitute any significant amount of decks played in ranked mode, so there is no point to hope facing them in a winstreak.
Since the deck lacks card draw, it's not uncommon that you can't always draw weapons before turn 5 (I mean, ANY weapon, even Upgrade!) which turns your Bloodsail Raider into plain 2/3 minion which is easily removed by more powerful late-game minions your opponent can play.
And when you have weapons... well, good luck keeping them over the next turn since every 3-rd deck I faced has Acidic Swamp Ooze and almost every other one Harrison Jones, which is not unusual since shamans and hunters dominate the meta.
.
Tried this deck out today, rank 16-11
in my experiences this deck does very well against many decks, such as secret hunter/dragon warrior/ or even druids
However, a shaman will force you on your knees while he whips his taunt dick out and destroy you every single game. It just simply isn't possible to beat shaman down to a kill-able range when forced to trade against his trogg or weapon the totem golem. Start going to church on Sundays and pray to Jesus that the shaman hero powers the first four turns and his things from below at the second half of the deck or this warrior will suck more dick than a desperate fundraising crack whore.
cut the long story short, great deck not in the best meta
I played this deck in wild last season (running Death's Bite x2 and Ship's Cannon x2) and I can say that the people complaining about mirror image and taunts need to play against Sludge Belcher. Easily the hardest thing to overcome in wild and the reason I run Spellbreaker over 2 mortal strikes. If thing from belows and twin emps are causing you problems consider tech'ing spellbreaker or the owl to deal with them. when playing shaman I usually just SmOrc every turn with hero power and conservative play and they usually can't kill you quickly enough. The by far hardest matchup for Pirate Warrior in wild or Standard is RenoLock and tempo/mech mage. Even then it largely comes to coin flip draws of "win or die". I am also greatly in favor of running greenskin over the smaller curve guys like toad or juggler. The value he adds to weapons should not be overlooked. a 6/3 Arcanite reaper is many times a lethal clock that they have no way to deal with.
It's definitely a fun deck to play and when the RNG Gods allow, you can most certainly win in 6 rounds or less often in quite dominating fashion. However, with zero card draw this deck lacks staying power and, ultimately, is no where near as good as advertised.
I tried it with the old version with Grommash and pretty quickly went from level 15 to 7. At 7 I am running into trouble. Too much taunt from the shamans is getting me down. I am just stomping most control decks. Thanks, it is a lot of fun!
After rank 10 this deck's winrate drop from about 80% to about 60% I can't get past rank 9 anymore
