Hey there everyone and welcome!
Don't forget to +1 if you enjoyed the guide/decklist. A lot of time and effort went into these and it's a free and easy way to say thank you.
A Little About Me
I am a 17x Legend Player with 2x Top 100 finishes who goes by the battletag WingsOfWax or WingsOfWaxIII on other social media (Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, Twitch, and YouTube). I have over 15+ Years of Magic: The Gathering Experience, but as of the release of Hearthstone: Beta been converted to this new and exciting card game.
Over the past year, I have been creating videos, articles, and casting live streams to help educate newer players about Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft. As of right now, I am mostly known in the Hearthpwn.com community for creating a Naxxramas + 2,000 Dust Budget Guide 11 Deck series as well as putting Burst Rogue back into fruition.
These days I am working full time, go to school, and still create Hearthstone content whenever I find my schedule allows it. I love educating all types of players whether new or veterans about becoming a better strategy card gamer. I am creating this guide (and others) to help educate and grow the Hearthstone Community even further.
Introduction to my YouTube Channel:
Warning: This is an aggro deck. It has inconsistencies similar to any other Aggressive strategy and is not exactly straight forward to play. There is a lot (not all) of SMOrc'ing (Face is the Place) to be done, but you will have to plan out your turns according to how your hand is sculpted for optimal plays that leave you in the driver seat. Playing out this deck takes time and practice to fully master and play well, but it can be done and eventually could take you to the Legend status you desire.
Today I decided to share the decklist I've been working with over the past week (total of 6-8 hours played) to some decent success. I have yet to climb to Legend with this decklist, but may not have the time to do so.
This deck can pretty easily take an above average player to Rank 5 or greater.
General Guide:
Try to be on the offensive throughout most of the game, meaning mulligan aggressively for 1 drops, attack your opponent's face majority of the time unless you have profitable trades (example: trade a 1/1 for a 2/1 to protect your 3/2s), and save your burst for one turn. Typically around turns 6-8 is around the time you should have enough burst in your hand to kill your opponent so make sure to count up potential damage from Turn 6 and beyond to plan your alpha strike.
Card Choices:
Forbidden Ritual - A solid reload card after your opponent has played a board clear. Also helps fix whatever hole you may have in your mana curve.
Worgen Infiltrator - Another solid 1 drop that can majority of times, reliably deal it's damage. Can be replaceable vs aggro decks for Elven Archer or Mortal Coil.
Acidic Swamp Ooze - Added to the deck because of the rise in Spirit Claws and other weapon reliant classes. Can be replaced if there are less weapons with Huge Toad or Twisted Worgen.
Ironbeak Owl - I decided to add Ironbeak as a one of, but it can be easily replaced with just about anything if you are finding less Taunts in your meta. Its mana cost is a bit bigger than I would hope, which is why I can't justify two copies.
Leeroy Jenkins - Best burst minion available in the game. Can be replaced with Argent Commander if cost is an issue.
If you are looking for a more resilient version of this deck to combat all the AOEs:
If you are looking for a deck that maximizes your time and is competitive, this is the right deck for you. The deck is also Budget Friendly and can be altered slightly depending on what your collection looks like.
Here's to hoping this deck/guide is in some way beneficial to your Grinding Experience! The deck has performed extremely well for me and won games I thought were not possible to do so.
If your looking for a deck to get you out of the lower Ranks, this one will surely do the trick when piloted reasonably well.

Thank you for checking out this deck and I hope it serves you well.
Good luck and grind on,

Must be a fking joke this deck is very very bad. Give me a break
Well faced.
Read.
He lists substitutions, including one for Leeroy.
Forbidden is from wotog, craft it. Dark peddler maybe replaced by harvest golem.
So many replacements need in this deck it's insane. Not efficient.
If you get a bad draw, you are doomed
"A little about me. I am a 17x Faceroll Player with 2x Top No Brain Deck Mechanic finishes who goes by the battletag Netdecker, aka Mr. Stealyodeck. I took the same basic 26 cards that work in every Zoo deck and added some different brainless face cards to say i came up with something new." Really it's the same shit every time. Just play aggro, luck your mulligan, and top deck your way to a higher rank. If you get a shit hand, or they get board control before turn 5 and aren't below 12 health, then concede and repeat.
P.S. I'm sure WingsOfWax is a nice guy.
Someone's having a bad day lol
Rank 20? RANK MUTHAFCKING 20!?!?! I GET TO AT LEAST RANK 19 SO YOU BETTER PUT SOME RESPECT ON IT! No, really though. It triggers me to see the same deck over and over and people asking the same damn questions like "what do i do if i have a bad mulligan", or "I can't get to legend with this deck so it's shit". Hearthstone has turned into a shit show where low cost minions out value most high cost, and random rng mechanics make bad people good. It rewards brainless aggro over a strategic control based on a mulligan because starting with 3-4 cards in your hand is absolute bullshit lol. Also mana coin for the turn two player is a terrible balance mechanic. I haven't played hearthstone in months, I just get on here every once in awhile to see if there is anything new and meta changing.
P.S. I'm sure Kuko_2245 is a nice guy. ;)
Wings is just trying to give the new players a hand he always did with very cheap and effective decks. Blizzard are greedy cunts, be nice. Salty fuck.
Like i said, I'm sure WingsOfWax is a nice guy. "Cheap and effective" you say? Of course it is you bigot, because it is a Zoo deck lmao. That is my point, it's the exact same with a 4-6 card difference. It plays the same, and practically mulligans the same. As for being a "Salty Fuck", I'll accept that. I mean, I am the one complaining and pointing out things people don't like to hear. Also calling Blizzard "greedy cunts", then saying "be nice", to turn around and call me a "Salty fuck" is all to contradicting. I'm probably even more of an ass for pointing that out too lulz.
honestly, have you ever played a zoo-deck?
I am pretty sure, that you would never call it brainless.
I have and I consider it brainless. To someone who can't do simple math or doesn't believe in THotC ( The Heart of the Cards lmfao!), i could see how Zoo could be a challenge. "Oh shit i discovered three 1 mana cost card... I should google what to pick just to be safe." Okay so I'm being a bit dramatic. Compared to control decks or a deck that actually curves into a somewhat high mana cost takes much more skill to play. Not just playing out your hand and then top decking your way to a win because every card is face. Zoo, aggro Shaman, Pirate Warrior, and other early face race decks have a high win rate based off of filling your deck with high value low cost minions and spells that are (somewhat) hard to answer to. I only point out Zoo because the post is a Zoo deck. Wanting/Getting the highest win % is what one would typically want and aggro is the way to do it. Blizzard has unfortunately made low mana high value cards more prominent making this possible. An issue with this is it is per class making the variety of the game stale. It's like a "one way to play" situation. There is an issue when you see decks being made with 22+ class cards in it and only 8 or less neutral. If you do see neutral its usually the same exact card ex. Argent Squire, Argent Horserider, Abusive Sergeant, Alpha Wolf, etc.
I've never said anyone is an idiot or is bad at the game for playing these types of decks. I personally find them easy to use. Honestly if your goal is to get easy wins then you are smart for playing the right type of deck. Don't hate the player, hate the game. Unless that player spams "Extraordinary" or "Well Played" of course lol.
Also I have played Zoo and I think I went 6-1 with it before deleting the deck. I was showing my friend how easy it was to win with it. Also I made my own Pirate Warrior and went from rank 20 to 8 in two days only losing two games. I lost once at rank 11 to an aggro shaman, and again at 8 to another aggro shaman. I then deleted the deck because it was boring to me. I should totally post that pirate Warrior Deck... wait, it's probably already on this site with a 2-4 card difference lol.
I get your point and agree in many points but also see some "other" benefits.
Since Naxx I've played f2p-only and stopped for more than one year... The game sucked at this moment very hard for me...
I've played nearly basic only and struggled a lot vs. any kind of deck........ When Kara was released I've build a cheapish and fucked up Mage-SMORC-Deck and reached Rank 15 (Dust-value 880)... (I've had a ton of luck for sure, lucky draws, plays etc...)
But I've gathered nearly 1000 dust and decided two weeks ago to craft "Zoo-cards", because I'am missing nearly everything.
My personal point, I've played 3 versions of Zoo (also tried other cards...) and learned a lot... (nearly 200 games)
(Some situations may seem obvious but I haven't recognized them to realize at which state your game/board etc. is;
to be honest, even now I am kind of "smarter" but there's still space.
This version for example seemed very strong in case of burst, I've tried it... (Stats 5-11) and got steamrolled...
atm I am on 11-17... But still I am not good enough or "smart" to outplay my opponent with this deck.
Besides luck it contains everything you'll need for zoo, but the pilot has to be a good one. IMO
On my side (as a aggro-bitch) I don't see much skill in running for example C'thun-Decks. IMO Warrior and Priest are **** (Flowers, unicorns and stuff). ;) Play 2 C'thun-minions, get him buffed, and stall the game until your opponent is so annoyed and concedes just to play another opponent. Sure, if your opponent lives after round 9 something went wrong. (you sucked, bad draw, opponent was just better)
Benefits of Zoo:
- Prediction of the incoming plays of your opponent
- your own gameplan
- board-positioning (conga line)- learn to tap and when not
- refill the board
- realize when you waste your time and concede
- efficient trading (workin on it)
- notice when it's time to go face only
Sounds it crazy when I am saying that I am experiencing the game in a new way, which I like a lot, only because of this type of deck?
Aggro is a different way to play the game and is often (at the moment) more gratifying with quicker games and a higher win rate. You get consistently play and don't stress to hard on good mulligan compared to control. Personally I liked actually playing and not steamrolling a game by turn 5-7 because it was boring for me. As long as I didn't lose to a straight rng drop or spell I was completely content with losing. The game is mostly rng with cards doing summon, discover, or copy random card type of stuff, which is why i dislike it so much now. When I played Zoo I didn't invest in pushing my advantage to far (for board clear reasons), but I stayed far enough ahead to where I could guarantee getting enough damage to face and force exchanges. Idk, there was a point where Zoo kinda fell off, but it is definitely a thing now. Almost the only way to make warlock viable other than Reno.
As for C'thun cards, the trigger effects of what C'thuns stats are should vary in cost. A flat 10 on everything is just lazy design. Some cards C'thun effects and stat values are way to good just to require +4/4 being added to a card that is already at 6/6, but that's Hearthstone.
Of course Zoo is cheap and it has always been cheap. I wasn't talking about this specific deck. I said "Decks" ( You probably didn't even bother to check his deck building history or whatever and see TONS of classes both cheap and efficient before started barking). I was stating facts (everyone agrees that Blizz are only in for the $ they don't care about anything else and the "be nice" was meant for you to show some respekt for our Glorious Savior Wings not to be nice in general cause you're a troll and internets trolls are all like that. Filled with fear, pain and anger. We all need a vent I get it). Just show some little appreciation now and then for the people who deserve it.
I have to admit, I never liked Warlock very much..., but I haven't played the game either in earlier days.
I love Rogue, but guess what, two core cards are missing (2x Prep) and the dust was some kind of investion,
which pays and has payed by itself.
If I have the chance to play around sth. but in the end it's again 50/50... Played today vs priest... Holy Nova on round 5 followed by 2nd Nova on 7 into me conceding... :D Nothing to recover...
@Mitozz:
Blizzard fucked up more than one time on their own games...
I've watched the YT-Channel and some vids, the decklist @hearthpwn not complete or with very big interest, cause atm only Warlock and Rogue matters for me... To be honest, I've watched the C'thun-Priest (budget) and cried cause he encourages ppl to play this class...
(SHAME ON YOU MR. WAX, even if you're nice person... :P)
How do you deal with a bad mulligan?
You concede.
Too slow maybe ? Thus it feels weird or odd having that 3 drop that kind of need to scale up a bit. But maybe I'm wrong.
