What's This?

Noob decks are made only out of basic cards. These cards are available to all players for free once they reach level 10 with that class. Basic cards are characterized by the absence of the card sigil (symbol) behind the card text, which indicates what card set the card belongs to.

Why?

Noob decks are meant to provide the quickest possible way for new players to get into playing ladder matches to help them gain a sense for the game and learn cards from other sets.

Explaining the Cards

I'm going to go over each card or pair of cards one by one to give you a sense of why I'm using it:

Blessing of Might: Gives any minion you want +3 attack. Good for trading small minions into bigger minions. It's good for doing extra damage to opponent. An efficient card.

Hand of Protection: Gives any minion a divine shield. Good for efficient trading. Great for protecting minions on opponent turns. An efficient card. Divine shields are popular in aggressive decks and arena.

Humility: Change attack of any minion to 1. Good for efficient trading. Good for protecting your hero from damage. An efficient card. Humility effects are used in many competitive paladin decks.

Light's Justice: Equips a 1 attack weapon. Good for taking out one health minions, especially turn one minions.

Acidic Swamp Ooze: Early minion that can trade or do damage. Its battlecry is valuable. This card has been used in many competitive decks.

River Crocolisk: Early minion that has 3 health. It survives much better than 2 health minions and can trade with two minions.

Novice Engineer: A utility minion that provides card advantage.

Ironfur Grizzly: Average stated minion. Fills the curve. Taunt is good against aggro and can enable more efficient trades.

Shattered Sun Cleric: Buffs a friendly minion on board by +1/+1. Good for efficient trading early or dealing damage.

Blessing of Kings: Gives a minion +4 attack +4 health. Good for trading. Good for damaging opponent. Can be risky to play at late turns if you only have one minion because that minion could get silenced or removed for two, three, or four mana on opponent's turn.

Chillwind Yeti: An iconic minion known for having great stats. At four mana 4 attack 5 health it can inflict a lot of damage and trade efficiently. Has been used in many competative decks.

Consecration: A spell that does 2 damage to enemy minions and hero. A stable card in most competative paladin decks.

Hammer of Wrath: A spell that deals 3 damage to any enemy character and draw a card. This card is okay, the card draw is nice, but its high mana cost and low damage makes it inefficient. It can help in trading.

Sen'jin Shieldmasta: Another iconic minion. 3 attack 5 health with taunt is good for protecting minions and hero and enables efficient trading. It's also a good counter for weapons as not many weapons have 5 or more attack. Has been used in many competitive decks.

Truesilver Champion: A stable card in all paladin decks. A 4 attack weapon that also heals hero. It's capable of removing many early and midgame minions.

Boulderfist Ogre: Six mana 6 attack 7 health minon. High stats for its mana cost. late game minion/finisher. Try to play it as early as possible to give opponent less mana to play with in case they have a removal for it on their turn.

Guardian of Kings: Complements the late game and heals hero.
