Hey guys!

Zananananan here, I'm a german Hearthstone player and I'm currently playing for http://www.sfd-gaming.com/.I just wanted to share my Patron Warrior with you. I played it on the first day to hit rank 4. On the 2nd day the last Karazhan wing came out. I built Discardlock and hit Legend with it.

I offer coachings for 15,00 €/hour. If you are interested, please leave me a message on Hearthpwn.

Guide:

Playing from behind, Patron Warrior can still pull off powerful swing turns with a Grim Patron or Wild PyromancerCommanding Shout play. On top of that, this deck utilizes Arcane Giant and Grommash Hellscream as a second win condition.

Mulligan:

I'll talk about the cards you usually want to keep first. After that I'll take a look at specific matchups.

Fiery War AxeAcolyte of PainRavaging GhoulBlood To Ichor

Druid:

favored - Keep Slam if you have Fiery War Axe, you can kill Violet Teacher or Fandral Staghelm with it. Druid has a hard time dealing with Grim Patron or Arcane Giant. You can bait Wrath with Acolyte of Pain.

Hunter:

slightly unfavored - Keep Wild Pyromancer with the coin. You can play around Snipe by playing Commanding Shout first.

Tempo Mage:

favored - Don't keep Ravaging Ghoul if you don't have Fiery War Axe. Keep Wild Pyromancer with the coin. Be careful about Flamestrike.

Freeze Mage:

heavily unfavored - If the Freeze Mage Player plays well you have no chance to win. You can solve that problem by playing Armorsmith, the Freeze Mage has no chance than. You want to play Grim Patron, Armorsmith and Whirlwind together to get out of reach. Don't draw to much, you'll win in Fatigue.

N'Zoth Paladin:

unfavored - You have to go all in on him having no Wild Pyromancer Equality. The Faceless Charge version is better in this matchup. You have to save both Inner Rage and 1 Fiery War Axe charge to be able to kill him with the Arcane Giant Combo.

Aggro Paladin:

favored - Keep Wild Pyromancer. Keep Commanding Shout if you have the Wild Pyromancer.

Priest:

unfavored - You have to go all in on him having no Excavated Evil. The Faceless Charge version is better in this matchup. You have to save both Inner Rage and 1 Fiery War Axe charge to be able to kill him with the Arcane Giant Combo.

Rogue:

favored - Make Patrons on an empty board and you win. Sap is almost useless against Arcane Giant.

Aggro/Midrange Shaman:

heavily favored - Keep Wild Pyromancer with the coin. Commanding Shout is also fine if you have Wild Pyromancer. Keep Execute if you have a good hand. Beware Lightning Storm.

Control Shaman:

heavily unfavored - Just go all in.

Zoo:

heavily favored - Keep Wild Pyromancer no matter what. If you have Wild Pyromancer keep Commanding Shout.

Renolock:

unfavored - Hope he doesn't have HellfireShadowflame or Twisting Nether

Dragon Warrior:

favored - Keep Wild Pyromancer with the coin, Commanding Shout as well if you have Wild Pyromancer. You win if you manage to pull of the Grim Patron Combo.

Control Warrior:

heavily unfavored - Go all in on him having no Brawl. Keep Grim Patron with combo pieces. Keep Revenge in mind.

Questions

Are there replacements for Emperor Thaurissan or Grommash Hellscream?

Yes, you can play Charge and Faceless Manipulator instead. Senfglas who created this deck played with it. You can deal 20 - 28 dmg with Arcane GiantChargeFaceless Manipulator and Inner Rage. Emperor Thaurissan and Grommash Hellscream are just better in this meta. Often times they don't even have a way to remove the 2nd Arcane Giant and he is just sitting in your hand. Emperor Thaurissan is just crazy in this deck, you can do insane combos with it. Grommash Hellscream is just there as a finisher. RDU also agrees that this version is better at the moment. Almost nobody plays Priest, Paladin or Renolock. I would play the Charge version in a slower meta, but than i would probably play Raging Worgen.

You are awesome. Thanks for the support!
