Hey guys!
Zananananan here, I'm a german Hearthstone player and I'm currently playing for http://www.sfd-gaming.com/.I just wanted to share my Patron Warrior with you. I played it on the first day to hit rank 4. On the 2nd day the last Karazhan wing came out. I built Discardlock and hit Legend with it.

Guide:
Playing from behind, Patron Warrior can still pull off powerful swing turns with a Grim Patron or Wild Pyromancer + Commanding Shout play. On top of that, this deck utilizes Arcane Giant and Grommash Hellscream as a second win condition.
Mulligan:
I'll talk about the cards you usually want to keep first. After that I'll take a look at specific matchups.
Fiery War Axe > Acolyte of Pain, Ravaging Ghoul, Blood To Ichor
Druid:
favored - Keep Slam if you have Fiery War Axe, you can kill Violet Teacher or Fandral Staghelm with it. Druid has a hard time dealing with Grim Patron or Arcane Giant. You can bait Wrath with Acolyte of Pain.
Hunter:
slightly unfavored - Keep Wild Pyromancer with the coin. You can play around Snipe by playing Commanding Shout first.
Tempo Mage:
favored - Don't keep Ravaging Ghoul if you don't have Fiery War Axe. Keep Wild Pyromancer with the coin. Be careful about Flamestrike.
Freeze Mage:
heavily unfavored - If the Freeze Mage Player plays well you have no chance to win. You can solve that problem by playing Armorsmith, the Freeze Mage has no chance than. You want to play Grim Patron, Armorsmith and Whirlwind together to get out of reach. Don't draw to much, you'll win in Fatigue.
N'Zoth Paladin:
unfavored - You have to go all in on him having no Wild Pyromancer Equality. The Faceless Charge version is better in this matchup. You have to save both Inner Rage and 1 Fiery War Axe charge to be able to kill him with the Arcane Giant Combo.
Aggro Paladin:
favored - Keep Wild Pyromancer. Keep Commanding Shout if you have the Wild Pyromancer.
Priest:
unfavored - You have to go all in on him having no Excavated Evil. The Faceless Charge version is better in this matchup. You have to save both Inner Rage and 1 Fiery War Axe charge to be able to kill him with the Arcane Giant Combo.
Rogue:
favored - Make Patrons on an empty board and you win. Sap is almost useless against Arcane Giant.
Aggro/Midrange Shaman:
heavily favored - Keep Wild Pyromancer with the coin. Commanding Shout is also fine if you have Wild Pyromancer. Keep Execute if you have a good hand. Beware Lightning Storm.
Control Shaman:
heavily unfavored - Just go all in.
Zoo:
heavily favored - Keep Wild Pyromancer no matter what. If you have Wild Pyromancer keep Commanding Shout.
Renolock:
unfavored - Hope he doesn't have Hellfire, Shadowflame or Twisting Nether.
Dragon Warrior:
favored - Keep Wild Pyromancer with the coin, Commanding Shout as well if you have Wild Pyromancer. You win if you manage to pull of the Grim Patron Combo.
Control Warrior:
heavily unfavored - Go all in on him having no Brawl. Keep Grim Patron with combo pieces. Keep Revenge in mind.
Questions
Are there replacements for Emperor Thaurissan or Grommash Hellscream?
Yes, you can play Charge and Faceless Manipulator instead. Senfglas who created this deck played with it. You can deal 20 - 28 dmg with Arcane Giant, Charge, Faceless Manipulator and Inner Rage. Emperor Thaurissan and Grommash Hellscream are just better in this meta. Often times they don't even have a way to remove the 2nd Arcane Giant and he is just sitting in your hand. Emperor Thaurissan is just crazy in this deck, you can do insane combos with it. Grommash Hellscream is just there as a finisher. RDU also agrees that this version is better at the moment. Almost nobody plays Priest, Paladin or Renolock. I would play the Charge version in a slower meta, but than i would probably play Raging Worgen.
You are awesome. Thanks for the support!
Can Blood Warriors be played in this deck?
Yes. I think its a little bad tho, abd with the charge nerf, I dont think this is your best deck of interest
0-7 with this deck
I got from rank 20 to rank 7 with this but after facing so many face hunters in a row it's just frustrating :/
Missing some legendaries but still can win rank 15
If a Warrior deck is unfavored against Freeze Mage, you are the one who doesn't know how to play, lol. Change your game plan and go for 100 armor as your win condition. Save Blood to Ichor and other stuff to Execute their big dudes. Use War Axe to kill the Acolytes, AoEs for the other draw minions...and you should be fine on the game. Making Patrons will never win you against Freeze Mage, but acting Control-like will.
Thank you for your rank 18 wisdom. You don't have enough armor gain to play for fatigue.
SAVAGE BEAST
Why don't you play Finley?
Yo, I made a video. The deck is quite stable, considering that you get to the late game, but with all the clears it's not that hard, I actually recommend removing 1 Commanding Shout and adding a Brawl, for example, cause Brawl is a really nice board clear. I've also seen people run Charge for the Arcane Giants, it can also work nicely. Overall it's a deck with an insane late game, but it requires some skill. Check out my video and leave a comment or two.
0-8 with this deck
Since I just opened him a few days ago and don't have many decks for him. I took out Emp T and replaced him with Yogg as a joke. He works pretty well in the deck actually. He has won me several games against control decks after my patrons got cleared. And got me called me a bitch boy by a priest.
Is it just me, or would frothing berserker be a good card to add? It just seems really good in this deck, can you guys tell me why frothing isn't in this deck? I'm sure there is a logical reason.
I think the deck creator wants to optimize Arcane Giant. If you add Frothing Berserker(s) in, then 1~2 spells must go because all minions are good already.
I actually removed 2 Shield Block to add 2 Frothing Berserker. Early game seems to be much easier and Frothing Berserker usually absorbs a huge deal of damage as much as Shield Block.
Gave this a try this morning, and so far am 0/3. I think it's just been bad luck, but I've had a very hard time getting and maintaining a good board presence early. Hunter, Mage and Priest for opponents so far, and they've all done a good job of keeping the board clear. Still a fun deck to play, and I'm going to keep at it.
Finley and Yogg maybe will do
very good deck, 5/0 so far
Copied the exact same deck, I had personal preferences too in the beginning for subs but decided to try the original flavor first. Turns out insanely good, I had never loved 1/1 totems so much in my life. Upvoted totally.
Patron is back and they brought some giants with em! the deck is very good, especially against very aggro focused deck and I am pretty happy about the results I got playing the deck!
I made a video showcasing the deck and I hope you guys enjoy it as much as I did :D
