Thank you for 20+ upvotes guys! As promised, here is the guide to the deck.
Let's begin with me explaining why I think this deck is better than the other Reno decks people use on ladder. Warlock is the best class for a Reno deck because it has different cards that do a lot of common things. Cards as Hellfire Demonwrath Shadowflame and Twisting Nether are great for clearing the board and often game-winning cards. Siphon Soul is the perfect answer for a big minion. The Warlock hero power is also great because it fills your hand with cards that make Twilight Drake and Mountain Giant a real nightmare for your opponents, whilst drawing into all the answers for your opponent's plays. Another thing that I have taken notice of is that other Reno Warlock players tend to mix a lot of different archetypes in their deck and this often makes their gameplan really complex and difficult to succeed. I've seen C'thun/Reno/N'zoth/Combo Warlocks which just can't seem to hold on to a certain win-condition. It's just a big mess of different cards. This is why I decided to stick with the classic Control Handlock style of play and if this doesn't seem to be enough to finish my opponent... Well... LEEEEEEEROOOOOY JEEEEEENKIIINS!!! Important thing here is that this deck does NOT rely on Leeroy Jenkins + buff + Faceless Manipulator as a win-condition. The combo is more like a great addition to the deck. And also, who doesn't like playing Leeroy?? :D
Let's continue with why I picked some cards over others.
Prince Malchezaar: (Swapped for a Stampeding Kodo for better consistency)
There's been a lot of talk about Prince Malchezaar lately. Personally, I think that it is a great addition to a Reno deck, since it gives you 5 extra cards that help you by providing fatigue advantage vs other control decks and they can never be the same (including legendaries you already have in your deck). Also it can give you useful legendary cards that your opponent wouldn't expect and often win you the game. Also Prince Malchezaar is a solid 5 drop and fits perfectly with the mana curve. So far I've never had any problems with including him in the deck. Some say that the extra 5 cards slow you down and lower your chances of drawing the cards you need but I think that this deck is flexible enough to deal with every situation not just by drawing "key" cards (I hope you understood what I was trying to say :D).
Medivh, the Guardian:
I tried running Ragnaros the Firelord and Alexstrasza as late-game finishers but I found that Medivh, the Guardian is actually a really good card. You get a 7/7 body and on the following turns you can dominate your opponent by clearing his minions with spells, whilst summoning minions for free. A great spell here is Twisting Nether as it clears the board and Atiesh will summon an 8-drop and we all know that 8-drops are the best in Hearthstone. Overall, Medivh, the Guardian turned out to be a great card and I wouldn't replace him anytime soon.
Brann Bronzebeard:
He has great synergy with cards such as Dark Peddler, Twilight Drake, Defender of Argus, Earthen Ring Farseer, Mind Control Tech and Abusive Sergeant. Also it has decent stats for a 3-drop.
Elise Starseeker:
Another great answer for control decks and a stable 4-drop
Mountain Giant:
Handlock.. Duh... :D
Sunfury Protector:
A great defensive card and can also be played as a vanilla 2-drop.
Lets go on to mulligans.
Vs Warrior:
Acidic Swamp Ooze, Twilight Drake, Mountain Giant (if going first), Elise Starseeker, Imp Gang Boss, Shadow Bolt
With all the different types of Warriors nowadays it is almost impossible to make a consistent mulligan guide. Your most sure picks would be the Acidic Swamp Ooze, Mountain Giant, Elise Starseeker and Twilight Drake. Just be careful not to play too many minions because Brawl will punish you. Instead try to use your spells to control the game and stall until you can start throwing big creatures on the board. Once he runs out of answers, you can star playing more aggressively and flood the board with minions. Use a well-timed Shadowflame or a Twisting Nether and you will be one step closer to claiming the victory. Also don't drop below 10hp because an enraged Grommash Hellscream WILL BE TOPDECKED AND CHARGED INTO YOUR FACE!!! (it is known :D).
Vs Shaman:
Hellfire, Shadow Bolt, Acidic Swamp Ooze, Imp Gang Boss, Dark Peddler, Earthen Ring Farseer, Doomsayer
Always try to remove his minions. Don't let his Tunnel Trogg gain even a single point of attack. Use your board clears to destroy his board and use the Acidic Swamp Ooze to destroy his Doomhammer. A well-timed board clear is the key to victory in this matchup.
Vs Rogue:
Twilight Drake, Mountain Giant (if going first), Acidic Swamp Ooze.
Your goal in this matchup would be to close the game as quickly as possible. You can accomplish that by getting your Mountain Giant early on the board or playing a big Twilight Drake. The Leeroy Jenkins + Faceless Manipulator combo is great against rogues. Get rid of their Gadgetzan Auctioneer and leave him do the trading while you hit him in the face.
Vs Paladin:
Twilight Drake, Mountain Giant (if going first), Acidic Swamp Ooze, Mortal Coil, Imp Gang Boss
This is probably the most difficult matchup since paladins can deal with your big creatures in numerous ways. Try to get them below 20 hp so that you can use Leeroy Jenkins + Power Overwhelming + Faceless Manipulator combo to finish them off. Don't try to flood the board because you will be burnt (pun intended). Your late-game savior will be Lord Jaraxxus because having a 6/6 every turn is too much for a paladin to handle and at some point he will run out of answers.
Vs Hunter:
Mortal Coil, Imp Gang Boss, Hellfire, Shadow Bolt, Dark Peddler, Acidic Swamp Ooze, Doomsayer
Try to out-tempo him by making valuable trades and clearing his board. If this plan doesn't work, then the Escape button + Concede button combo will always save you from Call of the Wild. For real tough, don't let him gain board advantage unless you are sure that you can clear it. Savannah Highmane is a nightmare for almost every deck, no matter whether it is a control, mid-range or aggro. Hunter is one of the best classes on ranked but I think this deck has enough answers for it.
Vs Druid:
Twilight Drake, Mountain Giant (if going first), Imp Gang Boss, Shadow Bolt, Dark Peddler, Doomsayer
Now that beast druid is popular we have to use our removal spells wisely and defend our face by taunting up high-health minions. His only win condition is minion damage and if we get rid of it he basically can never win. Take the board advantage and he's yours.
Vs Warlock:
Imp Gang Boss, Dark Peddler, Mortal Coil, Demonwrath, Hellfire, Doomsayer, Mind Control Tech, Earthen Ring Farseer, twilight drake (in case it is another reno/hand lock)
Eat, sleep, CLEAR THE BOARD, repeat (if it's zoolock). If it's another control type warlock, make sure you get your big creatures out first and use your Sylvanas Windrunner to steal his big minions. Also you always have the option to burst him down with the Leeroy combo.
Vs Mage:
Mortal Coil, Hellfire, Shadow Bolt, Twilight Drake, Dark Peddler, Imp Gang Boss
Kill the Flamewakers and the Mana Wyrms and you should be alright. Use Hellfire or Demonwrath to kill his Sorcerer's Apprentices and Cult Sorcerers. Once he has used all of his burst damage, you can use Reno Jackson to heal yourself all the way back to 30hp. Finish him by outtempoing him or bursting him down with the combo.
Vs Priest:
JUST CONCEDE!!! WHAT THE HELL WERE BLIZZARD THINKING WHEN THEY CREATED Purify???
But if you at least want to give priest a little challenge, I would recommend keeping Twilight Drake, Mountain Giant (if going first), Shadow Bolt, Elise Starseeker, Shadowflame
Wait for them to play all their resurrect effects and then clear their board with Shadowflame or Twisting Nether. Meanwhile keep them busy with your minions and maaaaybe you can pull out a win in the late game with the help of Lord Jaraxxus. The combo is also devastating in this match.
I hope that you will enjoy playing my deck and that I've helped you with my guide. Give the deck an upvote if you want more people to see it and I wish you the best of luck on ladder :)
I'm looking for this too. Will Arcane Giant suffice?
Works pretty okay so far, but how about Faceless Shambler instead of Sunfury Protector ?! I usually use him with Twilight Drake and it seems like an okay synergy, as anyway you use a lot of fat minions so u can make that 4 mana valuable enough
This deck is the most fun I've had in Karazhan, thanks so much!! :D
Replace abusive with argent squire. Decent early drop and can be very annoying with defender of argus. Abusive is very often a dead card doesnt enforce the combo significantly anyways
is there a chance that malchezar gives you a duplicate legendary ? can it screw reno ?
No, it gives you different legendary's
I had my doubts on this deck after some initial struggles, but once you get the synergy of how the cards flow together, it has been great.
I have especially been having a field day absolutely destroying aggro decks from Dicardlocks and Hunters. So much control and board wipe. Nice balance with attack pressure.
...oh... and Reno + Youthful Brewmaster = Rage Disconnects for the Win.
Great work!
I made an account just to say that I absolutely love this deck, been struggling to find my place in the current meta, finished last season at rank 5 and now I've been struggling to pass 16, but with this deck I'm on a mad winstreak from 16 to 13 and still going strong, thank you so much for this!

I'm not gonna lie...
I'm in love with this deck.
I find this deck very fun and very good for landdering..
9-2 WR so far, only lost by control warrior and mid hunter( probably my fault cause i missplay :P )
My last game was 25 minutes versus C'thun/control Warrior and it end up my warlock 30 hp with 7 legendary minions in board and another 8 lege in my hand..
Ty for deck im looking forward for updates..
The only thing i dont like Gadgetzan Jouster ..I think its so useless..
p.s sorry for my bad english :D
U dont have enought late game. Dont fit current meta.
It was sarcazm
Let's spell sarcasm correctly before we go offering words of "wiZZZZdom".
Hey cool deck, Medivh is currently my favourite and he was very important so far in all games that I played with the deck. I just dropped the Malchezaar for a Stampeding Kodo. The extra legendaries are not worth it and you will also reduce the value of the Medivh (alongside your combo): VOD Medivh Reno ComoLock

This deck is so bad. Combo doesnt work for current meta. U will be dead turn 5.
Why the hell are u running loot hoarder in Warlock? (this is a real question)
I guess to replenish hand for mountain giant and twilight drake 2 work? also its basically a worse dark peddler
rank ?
