The goal is to stall on nazra until you have Kel'Thuzad on board with Ancestral Spirit on him. It's pretty easy to kill Malchezaar with multiple kel'thuzads and taunts on the board. I use mainly minions with 3 attack to be able to deal with nazras hero power every turn.
Replaced Doomsayer with Antique Healbot due to a lot of people commenting saying they needed some form of healing in the deck and Doomsayer being not very effective.
Another substitution could be Sen'jin Shieldmasta instead of Earth Elemental. Still potentially deals with two hero powers but doesn't give you overload. Another comment suggested Master Jouster in this spot as well.
Another substitution could be to take out Lightning Storm for either Refreshment Vendor or Healing Wave. Refreshment Vendor can deal with potentially two hero power taps from nazra.
They key to this deck though is to not initiate phase two until you have kel'thuzad with ancestral spirit on him. That way when you hit phase two Malchezzar will twisting nether and basically give you two KTs. Try not to waste ancestral spirit until you have KT on the board and you probably don't want ancestral spirit in your starting hand.
I tied your deck yesterday and couldnt win. Today I tried A LOT of decks and coudnt make it work.
Well, yours were better so I tried it once again and I made it!!! THANKS A LOT!
After hours of trying to beat this guy I've managed to beat him in one try with this deck. I had Kel and two Sludge Belchers on the field, the boss got bugged and he had simply refused to attack the Belcher.
Hell yeah, got to party on time, 10/10
Wouldn't Barnes be a good card to add? You could rng into a Sylvanas Windrunner, Kel'Thuzad, Psych-o-Tron or Sunwalker.
THANK YOU! It took me a few tries but your advice was perfect - get Kel'Thuzad on board with Ancestral Spirit on him when you kill Nazra and you're good to go.
Worked way better for me than the Anyfin Paladin.
If you find yourself in a situation like mine where you have too many taunts and won't draw KT until your last cards, don't hesitate using Healing Waves to heal Nazra so that she won't die to fatigue.
Subbed Sylvanas Windrunner, Tunnel Trogg and Alexstrasza for Master Jouster, Sen'jin Shieldmasta and Healing Wave.
thank you so much! got it on 2nd try. much more easier than the stupid anyfin paladin deck on front page -.-
Praise Kel'Thuzad, The Destroyer Of Heroic Bosses, Our Lord and Savior! It was so easy it felt like cheating. Thank!
1st try with this deck! Thanks a lot!
I tried Anyfin Paladin version for 3-4 tries with no luck...
not always a first time win deck but stick with it it does work :D
Prince Malchezaar does not always use Twisting Nether when starting.
hi. thx for the deck-suggestion. i made it in the 5th try with these changes:
tunnel trogg -2 ... healing wave +2
sylvana -1 ... master jouster +1
dr. boom -1 .... master jouster +1
alexstrazsa -1 ... harrison jones +1
antique healbot -2 ... sen´jin shieldmasta +2
one tip: watch out, that you don´t let your sludge belcher plus his deathrattle-minion die, while KT is up. he will revive that 1/2 and that sux. furterhmore: with the 1/2 from the belcher on the field, you might want that space to revive another died minion. so better fully use that sludge belcher in phase 1
you are welcome. glad my changes could help you out on these two bosses :-)
Thank you! Defeated him (I mean them) on my 3rd attempt with this deck. I had tried MANY times before using other decks and classes, but this one got the job done. Thanks again.
won in my first attempt, best deck for this boss
The deck works you just need to get the combo and taunts up.
Thx.
Wow, thanks so much for this deck! I lost track of how many attempts I made with "Anyfin" Paladin, Mage and Priest decks. Dozens at least. This deck got me the win after 4 attempts, 2 of which were early concedes due to poor draw. With 6 health left I finally drew Ancestral Spirit to drop on Kel'Thuzad. Pinged the Orc for 1 and off we went, and back came all my big taunts. So happy and relieved. Thumbs up!
52'd try. thanks
Worked way better than the Pally one, thanks. Still took a while due to the orc not behaving as people said she does though, but I'm sure that's mostly just the RNG of the heroic.
