As a person who always loved the good old darkbombing Malygos warlock decks (still alive and well in wild), I wanted to try a new approach on Standard and on top of that use many cards that don't usually see play which I don't think are bad at all. Plus a few cute choices of course.

The objective here is stall the game and chip some damage from time to time, until you're in range for lethal, which with the complete combo is by 18 life, which is not bad at all! Draw Thaurissan and have him lower the cost of any of these 3 cards: Malygos or 2x Soulfire. 

Differently from old times, you'd run a smooth dragon synergy, which I really like (if you look at my other decks, many of them are dragon themed) however with Curator out there, and also knowing that I LOVE Cho'Gall card design, I wanted to approach a more spell-lish take, so not only we have several early game plays as well as many many spells, from spot removals to AOE.

To complement the consistency of the deck, we also have The Curator, who will necessarily find the remaining combo piece (Malygos) as well as more tools for board control in the shape of Stampeding Kodo and Corrupted Seer (Hey, a tutorable Demonwrath + Minion is NEVER a bad thing right?).

I'm still debating what are the best options for taunts. Currently going for Cyclopian Horror, which should be great vs most druids, shamans and zoo.

Other combos:

1- Cho'Gall + Any spell.

2- Malygos + Mortal Coil. Great if you haven't for some reason drawn the combo pieces or need desperately to get rid of some pesky huge minion. Same can be done in case you were lucky to Thaurissan both Maly and Shadowbolt.

3- Twisting Nether + Doomsayer. Good to wipe that plate clean. A common combo in reno decks.

4- Sylvannas + Shadowflame. Clean the board AND take that huge dude who survived.

5- Abusive Sargent. Good not only to make a trade easier, but also useful with Shadowflame. Plus it's a one drop.

BONUS: Cho'Gall + Kara Kazhan = Dr. Broom!
