I've been having a LOT of fun with a 60-65% winrate using this deck. I'll get into a card by card analysis if this gets enough upvotes, but otherwise the general strategy involves a hard mulligan for a solid curve with a possibility of a decent combo.
Tips / General Strategies
- Turn 1 Imp, Turn 2 Wrathguard - haven't seen many people able to deal with this efficiently early game.
- There are 7 discard triggers in this deck (2 SF, 2 DL, 1 Succubus, 2 Doomguard).
If you don't have ANY discard cards in your opening hand, play the early game out as if it's regular zoo (ie: T1 Voidwalker/Imp, T2 Peddler, T3 Imp Gang Boss, T4 filler, T5 Kara Kazham)
- Kara Kazham has been the sleeper hit of this deck, helping bring you back from a zero-board state back to existence. Perfect fit for this deck, but just one copy. Two is too clunky and slow.
- Never keep two discard triggers in your opening hand, obviously (ie: Soulfire + Librarian/Succubus).
- Still thinking of replacements for Malchezaar's Imp when he hits later this week - will possibly cut 1 Possessed Villager, and still can't decide on the 2nd card to cut.
This deck is great fun and very strong as well. I recommend for everyone to try it.
