Thousands of people are using this deck in the ladder (10-13). I am here to ask if does exist any counters for it (or at least know which decks are harder to beat with this deck)

So I love this deck it is solid but damn does it take some play testing to get used to, anyways, I'm having issues with Shadow Word: Death There just isnt alot of 5 creatures I'm running into prior to like turn 9 and I find myself wishing I had a Shadow Word: Pain so what if we replace the Sunfury Protector and Sylvanas Windrunner for say an Abusive Sergeant or Dark Iron Dwarf and a Defender of Argus to nab those pesky 4's?

Try changing the Earthen Ring Farseer for a Crazed Alchemist, it can be handy if the creature's health is not 4,if it's attack is 0 or u just happen to have a holly smite and the creature's att is 2, even if u have don't have any of those but u have a cleric on the board and u have a power word:shield, then just give it +2 health alche on it and u have a cleric with 5/1 rdy for trade.

-1x azure drake, sylvanas, shadow word:pain             +1x gadgetzan auctioneer ,violet teacher, sunwalker)

I did the following changes and it works very good in the current meta :

-1x Shadow Word of Death

-1x Earthen Ring Farseer 

+2x Shadow Word of Pain(Zoo and all the aggro).

-1x Azure Drake(This card is slow when you get it too early,especially in the current meta,you summon Drake and the Zoo is just rushing your face)

+1x Thalnos (Same as Drake,but more of spell booster,you've got 6 spells it can boost).

-1x Sylvanas (Not good for the current Meta).

+1x Loatheb(No reason not to run this guy,if you summon him on an empty field,you're almost guaranteed a free turn).

i made almost the same deck a while back only diference was the azure dreke and dident do bonkers in the meta at that time...

I don't understand this deck. I've gone 0-4 so far and I always have nothing to play with 6 cards in my hand. There are too many combos and I have to wait for enemy to flood the board before they are even slightly useful. I just don't get this deck :/ Oh and I have every card in the deck, so no substitutes (except sunfury cuz no black knight)

It might just be terrible RNG, because in these 4 games I've rarely drawn cleric, blademaster, and other cards that I can actually play without a combo..

I don't have PV either, and I'm running Baron Geddon instead with some pretty fun effects. Naturally damages everything, so it's good vs. zoo and aggro, plus it powers your control with the clerics.

hey I registered on this site just to post on this deck and thank the creator. It is such a SOLID deck with SO much versatility. It's really impressive. Because the versatility, what cards I draw only have so much impact on the matches themselves.

What do you think about replacing Sunfury Protector with Loatheb? Considering that seems to be the tech slot anyways.

Looking good! Got any reasonable substitute for the Cabal Shadow Priest ?

Very good deck, 80% win rate for me. I did really well against aggro-style decks surprisingly, as this deck has a lot of heals which can keep you alive.

Tips:
-You really want to mulligan the Injured Blademaster, especially if you have coin. You may also want to Circle of Healing if you have it on the same turn.
-I usually use both Holy Fire cards on the hero when I am below 20 health as they not only do damage, but -heal your hero so you can stall for more turns.
-Auchenai Soulpriest is an important card for this deck. It is very flexible in damage output, and can clear the -board very well with the Circle of Healing combo.
-Thoughtsteal also tends to get me good cards as well. Use them when you dont need to do anything else.

I highly recommend keeping Prophet Velen in this deck. Although I do have Ragnaros the Firelord, I prefer using Velen because he actually made most of my plays.

I did not have Sylvanas Windrunner, and replaced it with Mind Control.
Works just as well, and may be even better.

I've been playing this deck for about a week now, and I'm amazed at how versatile and fun it is! (Winning 7/10 avg helps, too, and many of those losses were my own mistakes.) I love being able to switch between massive healing/card draw and damage/removal with Auchenai Soulpriest, Wild Pyromancer, Circle of Healing, Northshire Cleric, etc. I am subbing Mind Control and Gurubashi Berserker for Prophet Velen and Sylvanas Windrunner, and both cards have been working beautifully. The only card I might consider replacing is Earthen Ring Farseer. I just haven't had many big moments with that card.

Beat Heroic Anub'Rekhan with a variation of this deck. Thoughtsteal FTW!

Good well round deck. Down side to this is not a good reliable clear for 4 cards.

Legendary doesn't really match the deck synergy. Can't rely on finisher.

Great Deck using it all the time and learning the play of the deck!

Is there anything you could sub prophet velen for?

Ragnaros or Argent Commander, ideally

What would you substitute sylvanas for? Any non legendary card

A Faceless Manipulator. Or, perhaps, even a Mind Control.

How's Ysera and Mass dispell (MS seems good against zoo board) do in priest deck, even considerate Thalnos in the deck? Also can Priest beat control Warrior in current meta?
