Update: I made some big changes to the deck. I swapped out Doomsayer, Humility and Solemn Vigil for two Netherspite Historians and a Book Wyrm. It made the early game more consistent, gave me more dragons to play with and gave me extra removal. Netherspite Historian is simply amazing, one of my favorite cards from the Karazhan set. I even made a forum post about her: Netherspite Historian is amazing
During my playtesting the deck was still undefeated so that is really good!
I unlocked Nightbane Templar and I wanted to make a dragon deck. I haven't lost a single game in the 4 hours I played so the deck must be good. Nightbane Templar and Ivory Knight both really surprised me.
You have to survive the early game with Humility and Doomsayer. From there on play your dragons on curve and win. It has been that easy for me.
Card Explanation:
- Forbidden Healing: Your best play against aggro. In my opinion better than Reno Jackson, because you can have doubles in your deck.
- Humility: Great against high attack minions.
- Doomsayer: Your best bet in the early game. Play this and after he goes off, play your dragons on curve.
- Equality: Great in combination with Consecration, the whelps of Nightbane Templar and of course your hero power:
- Faerie Dragon: A great early game dragon. A must have.
- Aldor Peacekeeper: Great control card. A Humility with a 3/3 body.
- Nightbane Templar: She's better than I originally thought she would be. She is great in combination with Equality and Keeper of Uldaman.
- Consecration: Your AoE.
- Keeper of Uldaman: My favorite Paladin card. Amazing flexibility.
- Truesilver Champion: One of the best weapons in the game.
- Twilight Guardian: Your main taunt minion.
- Azure Drake: Great dragon with card draw.
- Blackwing Corruptor: A cheaper Fire Elemental.
- Dragon Consort: One of the reasons why Dragon Paladin is viable.
- Solemn Vigil: Cheap card draw if you combine it with Doomsayer.
- Ivory Knight: This card really surprised me. This card is card draw, heal and a 4/4 body. This is the reason why there is only one Forbidden Healing.
- Tirion Fordring: The best Paladin card. An auto include in most Paladin decks.
- Ysera: My favorite dragon. You just win if your opponent doesn't deal with this card. Control the board, make sure Ysera survives and win with the dream cards.
