I was tempted to create a deck of my own for the new adventure. This deck will garatee you an EZ win over Illhoof. Overall this is one of the weakest bosses in the heroic adventures. *Important: In the time when I created this deck the common lag with boss not attacking taunts with their troops worked (However they will still use spells on taunts). Try to experiment with such cards as MCT.

Replacements: Most of the cards can be replaced. You can literally do whole deck of taunts. However I still suggest putting in such cards as explosive sheep for faster win. Abomination is one of the core cards as well, that provides effortless board cleans. Lil' exorcist is only good later in the game when enemy has full board of DeathRattle minions.

Instructions: Mulligan for sheep, armosmith, doomsayer or any good opener in order to survive first few turns. Try to use executes on doomguards. Always wait for combo Protect the king! + Bolster (Do not keep these cards at starting hand, there are more important opening cards you should get instead).
