Hey guys Mr. Savage with another super cool deck that is killer on ladder right now(7-0 on rank 2-1)
I have been super excited to play Dragon paladin since Nightbane templar was announced.
This card is absolutely insane!
The basic idea of the deck is similar to that of Tempo warrior. Remove your opponent's minions efficiently and develop a board at the same time.
Full video guide (decided to try it out vs writing down all the information let me know what you think down below)

Gameplay
Ok, thanks for the reply and suggestions :)
What about Ysera??
No, do not put in Nafarian, Chromagnus or Ysera. Put in Chillmaw instead. This deck severely lacks any boardclears or taunts. Chillmaw is both on a stick, plus it can be revived again from N'zoth for another clear.
Actually I'm not too sure why Onyxia is in the main deck in the first place.
That is the problem: I don't have Chillmaw :/
But thanks for the idea :D
Thanks for the reply :)
It has come to my attention that people think this deck is terrible. And their not completely wrong. The reason being meta is not good for this deck currently. Think of Midrange Paladin during TGT. It got trampled by a better version of that deck the cancerous Secret Paladin. Although Midrange had a good win rate against Secrets it sucked compared to it since Secrets still had a better overall winrate. Same applies for this deck except Dragon warrior is overall better than this deck yet this deck seems to beat the Dragon Warrior.
Is Ragnaros Lightlord necessary? Or is there a decent replacement for this build? I don't have Ysera or Chillmaw either lol.
As with any deck, this deck has very decent potential, it just depends on the player and the strategy. Just need to make a few modifications. I agree with docsavage.
-1xNightbane -Drakonid -Cairne -Consort -Onyxia
+1xEquality (ran both) +Ysera +2xBlackwing Technician +Chillwind
These are very nice changes. The deck is very solid. I hit rank 5 in standard from rank 14.
you could play a yogg as well
THANKS!!!!!
Hit Legend for the first time last night with a modified version of this deck. Ended with an 11 game win streak and overall I think I must have been 70%+ from rank 5. I'm not sure if I was just getting lucky but somehow I just kept winning. First, the changes:
-1xNightbane -Drakonid -Cairne -Consort -Onyxia -1xUldaman
+1xEquality (ran both) +Ysera +2xBlackwing Technician +Chillwind +Sylvanas
Lightlord was huge, and hitting key targets with Peacekeeper was also critical. The good news is so many decks are predictable that you know what to wait for. Also, starting with a selfless hero seemed to panic people into thinking this was a Shields up aggressive deck and they would make mistakes not realizing this is more of a N'Zoth deck with Dragon synergy. I almost never played the Faerie dragons but would hold them for dragon synergy, makes me wonder if they could be swapped out for something stronger. They would just die too easily and I would have to hold another dragon to make sure I had the trigger.
Some keys (probably obvious):
Always try to get a dragon in opening hand, playing turn 3 technician is huge because deck starts slow. I really thought this deck would be too slow but technician to guardian to corruptor always got me back. double equality/consecration was unexpected and many people didn't play around the combo. Nightbane templar was weaker than technician, seems people are tech'ed for zoo. always hold truesilver against Shaman and Warrior. Always hold peacekeeper against Shaman and Druid. Always get healing from Lightlord on hero, try not to drop when a minion might get healed instead.
Good luck and thanks again!! Been playing for a long time and hadn't hit Legend until now! Will try playing some games at Legend tonight but after winning 11 in a row I figured my luck would run out and was content to call it a day.
I don't have Ysera. Any workable substitutes?
And do you mean Chillmaw or do you actually mean a chillwind yeti? If it's the later, I might keep Dragon Consort. Playing around with this variation just feels as if it could use one more dragon for greater synergy.
Yes, definitely meant Chillmaw - needed the dragon, taunt, and AOE...
For Ysera, I think this is a flex spot. I thought about Rags but was worried about having enough dragons. I think any dragon in that slot can work. I wouldn't say Ysera was the difference maker in most games, maybe just one or two. The key against control was making them burn removal before playing N'Zoth.
Good luck!
Ahh, well I don't have Chillmaw either. That seems like a pretty key card.
In the meantime I'll probably try and get by using Ragnaros (firelord version) in place of Ysera and keeping the dragon consort so that I don't have too few dragons.
I have Deathwing but he's a pretty radical card. When he works he works well but I've been burned by that card, too.
yeah, since N'Zoth brings back Chillmaw it was a huge help - but remember Chillmaw will also burn the loot hoarders and selfless heroes that come back as well as the divine shield from Tirion - sometimes I held Chillmaw back so N'Zoth wouldn't bring her back too. Not sure about Deathwing, probably worth a try - would be interested in how it works out. Cheers
don't know why this was downvoted twice, he's 100% right. this is the most trash karazhan deck i've seen so far
Dropped one of the guardians since it was pretty situational and added a kings. Working out well for me.
The chance is too low to be worth it. A deck that relies on RNG isn't a good deck.
nightbane templar is incredibly important in the deck, paladin has had no good turn 3 play since GvG was removed
it fills the slot for muster and actually lets pally get to mid/late game where they are traditionally strong
Acolyte of pain would be a good 3 drop for paladin. Also a Harvester would have good N'zoth synergy.
