Hey guys Mr. Savage with another super cool deck that is killer on ladder right now(7-0 on rank 2-1)
I have been super excited to play Dragon paladin since Nightbane templar was announced.
This card is absolutely insane!
The basic idea of the deck is similar to that of Tempo warrior. Remove your opponent's minions efficiently and develop a board at the same time.
Full video guide (decided to try it out vs writing down all the information let me know what you think down below)

Gameplay
This deck loses hard against Mid Range Shaman =(
tell me one deck that doesnt lose hard against Midrange Shaman...feelsbadman
This deck is autoloose against ANY hunter or shaman. you have 0 chance to win. So this deck is bad cause 90% enemys on EU ladder is hunter and shaman! Only Lightlord for heal? lol
Deck needs some tweaking for sure, but its viable and more importantly it is
quite fun.
Sry dude but when I loose every game that is everything but not fun!
What do you think about Netherspite Historian? I have tried it in my Dragon Pally and it is working well.
Thanks for sharing your deck...
Xamans always conceed! I love it <3
And one question, there is any chance to add Forbidden Healing in the deck? cause sometimes i think that is necessary
Good deck, like many I replaced two Loot Hoarders with Netherspite Historians as you aren't cycling for any particular combo in this deck and it's near impossible to get a bad pick with three dragons to choose from.
I also replaced Onyxia with Alexstrasza as you are typically keeping control of the board with high health minions, not trying to flood it with weak ones, and Alexstrasza is just a general clutch high cost dragon that can turn around games better IMO.
Also considering dropping N'Zoth, the Corruptor for another mid-game dragon card. I know he combos well with Tirion Fordring, but in my first ten games I've yet to play him yet and is just a dead and unhelpful card if I draw him early.
Similar deck to mine but I run two blackwing techs. I would drop one aldor and templar for for two blackwing techs and switch onyxia to a bookworm.
This deck is 2 legit, 2 legit to quit. Word to yo motha!
Replaced:
1 Selfless Hero --> Redemption
Cairne --> Sylvanas
Onyxia --> Alexstraza
Is Nzoth really necessary? It seems like it'd be better replaced with a big dragon, because there are only a few death rattle cards, especially if you replace the loot hoarders with historians. Great deck though!
If we wouldn't talk about Paladin I would agree with you, and I also thought about replacing N'zoth.
But after about 50 games I decided that merely reviving a lone Tirion Fordring is more than enough value. People can usually deal with Tirion, but a second Tirion back to back with a 5/7 N'zoth on top? The combo alone closes half of my midrange/control games, often by just me hitting face with 3-6 Ashbringer chargers.
Good point! Makes sense, and it definitely does close out a lot of games if you get the Tirion / Nzoth subsequent turn combo.
Pretty good deck, but I replaced the Loot Hoarders with Netherspite Historians. There is so much value in this card I can't find the words. From pulling extra late-game threats to anti aggro Dragons, the Historian won me so many games already.
I also replaced Ragnaros with one Ivory Knight because I'm meeting too much aggro at the moment, and Rag is simply too slow. Both work great though, if the meta slows a tiny bit I will go back to the lightlord.
That said, I also replaced Onyxia for similar reasons. With Dragon Warrior and the new Maelstrom Portal I don't see that much value in flooding the board anymore, and the Netherspite Historians usually pull me another late game Dragon anyway - if I should need one. Instead I added one Book Wyrm, a truly fantastic card against Zoo.
With these improvements the deck works quite well. I have only lost 3 games out of 12. 2 against Shaman and one miracle rogue. In all my wins I have never needed N'Zoth. I replaced equality with Chillmaw and Cairne for Sylvanas. Historians are great to fill out your curve or give you a big finisher. I haven't gotten much use out of Ivory knight mostly because the deck has good removal and nerfs in the form of peacekeeper and KoU. Thanks for the improvements.
I don't have lightlord or Onyxia, anyone have suggestions?
Ivory knight and Ysera
Fun deck how about some book wyrms? They seem to dominate in that strifecro dragon deck.
I do not own Cairne Bloodhoof right at the moment, so I replaced him with Sylvanas, will that work?
