"With my Flame, I will Wake their very bones!"

"With my Frost, I will Call out to their soul!"

This deck is currently a work in progress; more detail will be added after further testing!

The deck is very similar to standard Tempo Mage, except it factors in more of Mage's underused frost-based cards. Demented Frostcaller and Water Elemental provide a plethora of freezing effects, which hamper your opponent in a number of ways. A frozen face means Shaman, Warrior, Rogue, Paladin and Druid will be very upset, especially if you keep them frozen for prolonged periods of time. With most of the field being frozen, Frost Lance becomes a powerful minion slayer or a hard 4 damage to the enemy hero, while Shatter can easily dispatch tough, meaty enemies like Ancient of War.

Two major updates will be occurring in the near future: two Babbling Books will be added in for superior early options, and Yogg-Saron will be added as a major game-ender alongside Antonidas (most likely removals will be 1x Mirror Image, 1x Mana Wyrm and 1x Spellslinger). Why isn't Yogg-Saron currently in the deck? It's simple...I don't have him yet! Once I've accrued enough dust to craft him, I'll be phasing him into the deck to see how well he meshes (if anyone else has him already, feel free to test with him and let me know how he works out).

Like I said, this deck is still in a testing phase; if you want to try it out in Ranked, feel free, but for the time being I'm testing in Casual until I'm satisfied with it. I don't see any other decks like this around the site that make use of Mage's powerful freeze effects, and I think it's time to cool off the board and make your opponent chill.

(I'm not sorry)
