Question : Is Totem Golem really necessary for this deck? It seems counter-intuitive to use an Overload minion in an evolve deck. I wonder if Bilefin Tidehunter might be superior? It would play nicely with Evolve, Brann Bronzebeard, Flametongue Totem etc.
That's not a bad idea, I will try that now :)
I might trade back, the board control this 2 mana 3/4 give is sooo strong on T1 with coin or T2....admittedly on T2 it does often block your Tuskarr Totemic or Nerubian Prophet on T3...excited to try out this trade now, thx for the tip! :D
Edit: Damn...it seems to have destroyed the Zoo matchup, strange how such a small change can make that big of a difference!^^ Totem Golem is insanely strong against Zoo while Bilefin is completely useless...went from being quite favored against Zoo till getting crushed 3 Zoo matches in a row after making this change :P
It also made the matchup against Warrior a bit worse due to Ravaging Ghoul and makes my board more often be vulnerable to Swipe....I have yet to combo the Bilefin in a way that made it better than Totem Golem....only played 6-7 games with this change so far though.
Edit2: Now I've Played with it another 20 or so games at least and it feels like it made a lot of matchups worse, Rogue and Mage in addition to the ones mentioned above....Fan of Knives, Flamewaker and their HPs just counter it too well....I'm gonna try Stormcrack instead and see how that goes :)
