An odd Barnes deck I'm having fun with. Some of the choices seem weird, but the past couple games I've won my opponent had no idea what they were playing against. Barnes into almost everything is solid, and if I don't draw him early on fora Redemption combo, I can still gain a powerful effect from him such as Malygos with a burst spell. I included the high cost minions for Holy Wrath, Redemption, to be summoned by Y'Shaarj either the 1/1 version or as a late game play, or to have a lot of solid finishers after a Deathwing. I included weapons to replace the early game slots and 2x Forbidden Healing can do a lot. Avenging Wraith is actually pretty good in a deck like this due to Holy Wraith and pinging weak minions, or even lethal with a Malygos. I'll need to tweak here and there but it's been a lot of fun and can surprisingly beat ladder decks so far.
The name is the reason i'm making this deck :D
Thank you! I had 2 Equality in at first but I cut them for more creatures due to Y'Shaarj not having any targets one game when I drew all my minions. Equality mainly won me a few games with Baron Geddon and my AoE spells I just didn't think I had enough AoE spells to play it, but I'm going to try it out again. Y'Shaarj is the dream target from Barnes because you're going to get a huge value minion every single time at full stats. Turn 4 Y'Shaarj grabbing anything is extremely hard to deal with and if you're comfortable turn 10 you can play it normal without worrying about RNG choosing a weak minion. 2 Avenging Wrath has been too many a lot of the time, but I've won from playing the second copy late into the game after a Malygos and I've won by just playing it normally to get some damage through. Holy Wraith for 6 damage is very good and Y'Shaarj is a 10 damage card (15 with Malygos in play). I'll try your changes but I would try out Y'Shaarj again to see the benefit of when things go right. I use a ton of weapons that end up going face and my spells can damage face too, so Avenging Wrath as 2 can be just enough for a surprise lethal or a mini board clear.
