The Big Bad Wolf's heroic hero power makes all minions cost 1 mana, and all minions you summon are 1/1.  He also starts off with 3 Kindly Grandmother on the board that you have to deal with right out of the gate.

His hero power makes powerful battlecries, deathrattles and on-board effects very cheap to play.

Also: Minions that are brought into play by means other than summoning them from your hand are NOT reduced to 1/1.  That includes minions summoned by the deathrattles for Sneed's Old Shredder and Piloted Sky Golem, as well as minions summoned by Confessor Paletress or resurrected by Kel'Thuzad or N'Zoth. Thaddeus will be 11/11 if you summon him.

That means you can actually field a huge board very fast.  He mostly summons midrange hunter minions, and his ability to summon them all for one mana each accelerates his tempo a bit, but with so many powerful legendary effects, you should be able to outclass him easily.
