This is my take on the new deck type of Discard Warlock that has popped up with the release of Karazhan. I have included 2x Possessed Villager until the final wing is released at which point Malchezaar's Imp should be placed in the deck in that spot. You are probably wondering why Youthful Brewmaster though? Because it can provide incredible value if/when you combo it with cards such as Abusive Sergeant, Bilefin Tidehunter, Dark Peddler, Doomguard, and even Succubus and Darkshire Librarian if you want to discard two cards. RNG willing you could if you wanted play Succubus, bring out Silverware Golem, play Youthful Brewmaster, then play Succubus again to bring out the second Silverware Golem or a Fist of Jaraxxus. It has a good body for it's mana cost 3/2 and you can discard it without worry if you don't need it.
Tried it out. 20 Games and about 2 won -.-
Felt like i had only very little answers to opponents threat. Onyxia on the board and i can click the concede button.
I was able to do pretty with this deck, but I admit it does require some luck due to the discard mechanic. Play it super aggressive and only trade with minions that have an effect that could cause problems like Knife Juggler or Flamewaker. Remove big taunts by playing Power Overwhelming on a Possessed Villager or another minion as needed. I usually ran out of cards by turn 4 or 5 then would just constantly start tapping until either I died or they did. Don't be afraid to tap. You need to be super aggressive with this type of deck. The game's are usually short. You will know if you're going to win or die by turn 6 or 7. Sometimes if you get luck you can win by turn 3 or 4 if you have the coin. Example from one of my games: Coined out a Tiny Knight of Evil turn 1. Turn 2 play Succubus which summons the Silverware Golem. Then 2x Power Overwhelming and Soulfire with a Fist of Jaraxxus to the face for the win! Hope this helps a little.
Interesting idea.
I think the discard mechanic didn't got enough support yet but people are excited for it. I'm missing Forbidden Ritual in this deck.
Just wondering why you don't play it in this deck.
I don't run Forbidden Ritual in this deck because I also don't run Knife Juggler or Darkshire Councilman. Just having a bunch of 1/1's isn't worth it as much imo since they can die too easily to things like Fan of Knives, Whirlwind, and Ravaging Ghoul which are pretty much everywhere. If my minions are being dealt with usually i'm dead anyways regardless and Forbidden Ritual probably wouldn't help as they would likely just go face and ignore
What kind of Hearthstone player am I?!
