moroes seems a lot underated.I was trying this card and i think is decent in an aggro paladin deck. The deck is fun,but is also pretty good.Reached top 100 legend with it
For those who want to see how the deck works, and why moroes is so good you can check https://www.twitch.tv/amazhs/v/85051784 from 1:07:00 to 1:11:30 .The guy maybe isn't playing the exact same list, but the list seems pretty similar.
Guys, making an extending guide,it's much harder than i thought it would be for this deck. The deck is not that easy to play, and i definately don't recommend new players to start with. The deck requires really good knowlegde of your opponents removals so you can play around them as much as you can and as long as you can. It's hard for a new player to understand when he should start going face and when he should keep playing the value game by value-trading,such as zoo does most of the times.
The strategy though is pretty straight-forward.You always mulligan aggresively for one drops. You should most of the times win the early game.I heard that for most of you guys, the problem is the mid game, when you run out of steam sometimes. There are 2 divine favours in the deck for that reason. The use of the card is not that easy as it was when secret paladins where in the meta and the value that the card got was huge most of the times. With this deck you have to work the way to getting that big value from that card and also not loose tempo on the board when you play it.
The good with this deck is that it doesn't have any really bad matchups.Face shaman, control warrior, mid hunter, rogue and other popural decks on ladder aren't really that bad matchups. On the other hand, deck doesn't have any super favourable match-ups,such as face shaman vs rogue. But i'm sure if you play well you should a lot of times be in a good spot and having a really good winrate with this deck.
The card choices are what i like more and what in my opinion fits well with the meta. You can also change cards and add others without the deck loose huge dynamic. It's just about the aproach you have. You can add a consecration for a comeback mechanic, you can add loot hoarders or knife jugglers, even a Sea giant.I suggest you to experiment with the deck. You'll have fun and you'll fell great when it works. You have to remember though. The deck is not a face deck. The deck works like zoo.You take the board early, you push a good amount of dmg every turn and value trading when possible and when you have him down enough, weapon and leeroy works as a great finisher.
The last week i experimenting a bit with the deck and i made a couple changes.First change is Loot Hoarder over Deckhand. It's really nice to have a bit of a cycle and not rely exclusively to the dive favours to draw.i think it's nice.It has synergy with steward and helps you find these divine favors and the finley which are the best cards in the deck.Second change is Silvermoon Portal over Blessing of Kings. The card it's great for the deck. Not only it buffs your minions, but also generates a 2-drop and you can have more power of board.Only one because blessing of kings still a great choice for this deck.

VS zooock; loose. VS tempo; loose. VS control wr; loose.
Really good deck!
Deck is garbage. Not because its a bad idea - I actually like it and think it's fun and cool, but just because it's useless against 90% of the meta. There's literally no way you made it to legend with this deck. I've played it, and the aggro/divine shield paladin decks before it a ton and they are decent but can't cut it on ladder. Sorry pal but your lies wont make it here.

yes, this is sooo true. All noobs upvote this deck, making ppl waste time. At least they will lose for us thanks to this deck,
yeah maybe you can have some fun in legend where ppl try different decks, but not in rank where ppl use their best deck.
yeah you are so correct. Bad players only hit face, and make mistake on turn 2 or even turn 1.
This kind of deck requires you make no mistake, and great decision
there are so many noobs who wine after only trying a few games, playing the wrong way? Just simply how embarrassing is that?
But also, this deck is too light. I cannot believe this deck reached legend, unless it has 51% win rate and deck writer played 500 games.
then you should write that in bold, and it should be the first sentence to prevent confusion. Or have specific guide so people can stop wining.
Good deck.
Thanks just for saying it mate
You're a fucking liar!
I tried your legend moroes aggro paladin deck in rank 6 and it sucked...

When I first looked at this decklist I thought it could work... but it doesn't seem to have enough threats... maybe you can write a muligan guide for each vs class ~_~
i saw the video.these are bad match ups for the decks.warrior had the answers, you couldn't do much.but with the priest i think you missplayed on turn 4.The play was bad.your opponent is going to turn 5,turn that he plays either nova or excavated and you play into it.You could have easily clear the 3-6 by trading the 1-1 taunt, the divine shield guy and hit with your weapon. Then buff the guy with divine shield with blessing.if he doesn't have death(and that's he's only out, which is not that bad cause you still pushing dmg next turn),you win the game
Hmm true. I misplayed that turn 4. I'm going to give this deck a few more tries (I just dropped from rank 6 to 8 using "Hoej’s Y’Shaarj/Barnes Ramp Druid (August 2016, Season 29)" ><
Hoej's deck is fun but so inconsistent.
Also I've noticed a lot of priests today from rank 6 to 8.
I tried another match at rank 8 and I feel like this deck is missing that big minion threat.

As a player who has reached legend with similar deck last season, i think turn 2 you could have just abusive, giving it a divine shield. That way, instead of having 4 vulnerable 1-health minions on turn 4, you could have had 3/2 with divine shield, and a 3/2 weapon.
Also turn 4, i would have sacrificed 1/1, 2/1 and your weapon to kill it, and save the 6/5 abusive.
turn 5 was awesome.
turn 6, i cant believe you hit face with 5/5 divine shield. Should definitely have traded, esp because its auckenai or however you spell it.
I didnt watch it after that but hope it helps. I dont want to sound too preachy. :) And feel free to check out my deck if you feel like this is missing big threat!
Tried this one and it seems to work way better than I initially expected. Doesn't feel to be "the final form" and I'll definitely try some tweaking, yet this list is worth giving a shot. It might need a couple of games to learn how to pilot it. GJ OP I upvoted.
I bet you didn't climb to legend with it though, did you. Probably was already at 101 legend when you started using it.
