Just saying, to all the people saying this deck sucks, I have made legend in 2 days ( rank 5 to legend about 8 hours total )
Just replace a druid of the claw for yogg.
Mulligan agressively every game and just go with the flow,
Multiple win condition decks are the best imo.
23 w 6 l nice deck
Are you the singer? xD
7-3

Better version!
My exact thoughts. In my revison, which you can see in the deck list i made, i did the following:
-2 raven idol
+2 Mounted Raptor
-Azure and Kodo
+2 Savage Combatant,
-Soul of the forest
+Savage roar [for 2 total]
-Rag for Mulch
The way i see it, if you mulligan hard enough, you basically have Azure TURN 2 with enchanted raven and Mark. Savage combatant and innervate is basically Kodo that you passivly gain with heropower cuz if Kodo actually triggers, it randomly kills either a totem or a 2 drop. with Savage combatant, you not only give innervate value outside of violet teacher/fandral, but you can chose what you remove and you can go face with it. I have more notes on the quick guide i made, but beast druid is far more sucessful as an aggro deck until Menagerie Warden makes control beast druid what it should be. Also, if you're doing semi control with only 1 savage roar [idk how he picked soul of the forest over that, but whatever] how can he not have any hard removal? most of the people upvoting this are getting wins from playing it as aggro, not control. and if you're going aggro, go all the way.
No Mounted Raptor? No Stranglethorn Tiger? No Nourish? Sorry, but this deck is literal trash tier.
stranglethorn tiger sucks at beast druid..
and how about Mounted Raptor?
I've played enough games with Kolento's beast druid to know that Mounted Raptor under performs in this deck. It's one of the cards I'll be cutting to make room for Menagerie Warden (and possibly The Curator)
tfw no one mentions Menagerie Warden
You know, the card that'll make Beast Druid top tier.
If you also think this deck is basically aggro, and want to fit in cards like Mounted Raptor and Savage Combatant [which is honestly tiers above stranglethorn tiger], i hope you'll take the time to check out my deck. I went from rank 18-10 OVER NIGHT with a winstreak that lasted from 16-11!
Maybe I am playing the deck wrong but, the card draw seems a bit weak for this type of deck.
I replaced kodo with nourish. Maybe cultist would be better...
The reason why the card draw seems, is because the guy that made this is trying to make a mid range deck without any reliable win conditions. If you change the deck into an aggro variation, all the card draw you'll need is in Mark of Y'Shaarj. For me, a aggro beast variation with Mounted Raptors and Savage combatant is far more effective at rushing down your opponent and securing wins than this deck. You can check out this variation in my deck list.
Cenarius might be good in this.
i wouldn't think so. by the time you play cenarius, i highly doubt you'll have a board or the card draw to drop more minions. Honestly, OP was on the right track in making a beast deck, but until Menagerie Warden is released, midrange/control beast druid wont be a thing. If you're going for a beast deck, i highly recommend going on a more aggro route, with all the same fandral and violet teacher combos, but more consistent with dealing dmg even after you're board cleared. You can see my aggro variation of this deck under my deck list.
I agree. Until Menagerie Warden is released, beast control/midrange druid wont be a thing. most of the upvotes on this deck are from people who play this deck like aggro, and honestly it should be. In a deck variation i made, you can see it in my deck list, i replaced alot of slow and inconsistent cards like Azure Drake, Kodo, and raven idols with more solid drops like Mounted Raptor and Savage Combatant. I highly recommend trying out my variation, and i assure you it's stronger.
I don't mean to take it out on you, but how long has "XX likes for XX" been a thing? I stopped playing for like six months, came back, and every other new deck posted is trying to farm for likes so we can get some half assed guide. I don't get it.
It makes sense. There are tons of new decks on hearthpwn appearing daily and you can't be sure if your deck will catch someone's attention. If people like it — both literally and figuratively — then you add additional info, mulligans, guides etc. But why should you waste your time and efforts if nobody'll care?
