I never managed to beat this stage until I unlocked Protect the King!. That card is a life saver in this stage. 

The gameplan is to stall with taunts. Just play every taunt you have in your hand. Protect the King! is a great way to stall an extra turn. After that, play Brawl and begin taunting up again.
