The 'Dead Sea' name is because of the level of saltiness.

Introduction:

Hi there, and welcome to my awesome legendary Priest deck (warning: it's NOT legendary because it'll lead you to legend, but because there is a legend saying that there used to be a 9th class in Hearthstone).

After the final reveal of the next adventure A Night In Karazhan, I thought about a lot of synergies that would bring back our beloved class to the top tier where it belongs.

Card choices:

Purify: Card draw is always good, and this one has great synergy withBarnes. For example, if he pulls out a 1/1 Sylvanas Windrunner, you can silence it back to a 5/5!... oh wait.

Silence: Yeah, silencing is SO powerful we absolutely need 4 of those.

Priest of the Feast: If it survives, you can heal your hero for 6 on turn 10 by playing two Power Word: Tentacles! Awesome. (Warning: it's not contractually meaning you have ANY chance to reach turn 10. Ever.)

Onyx Bishop: Resurrect was already an auto-include in every Priest deck, so it's a good idea to attach it to a weakish body. Great addition!

Resurrect: See above. Now you can play with 6 Northshire Clerics!

Moroes: To address the lack of Priest board presence. Also, awesome synergy with Shadow Word: Horror. Er, forget that.

Avian Watcher and Violet Illusionist: Strong new neutral cards that push Weapon and Secret classes. Like Priest.

Menagerie Magician: With all the powerful Priest-only Beasts and Murlocs, it would be a shame not to play one.

Herald Volazj, Confessor Paletress and Prophet Velen: Priest Legendaries, and Legendaries are the best cards. Prophet Velen even has the same stats as Dr. Boom!

Sylvanas Windrunner and Justicar Trueheart: Because, let's face it, those two are by far the best Priest Legendaries in the whole game.

Power Word: Glory and Convert: Miscellaneous Priest spells that are so powerful it would really be a shame not to play at least one of those.

Confuse: Me too.

Card replacements:

Doomsayer might seem redundant (who needs a board clear when you have Shadow Word: Horror already in the deck?) but the synergy with the silences is too good to pass up. When he doesn't die, he's an awesome sticky 7-health minion!

Yogg-Saron, Hope's End for his ability to cast yet other silence spells! Why castPurify only twice when you can cast it more than 10 times? (warning: sometimes, he might chose to cast other, less powerful spells instead).

Cards that didn't make the cut:

Moonglade Portal was a tough choice, because even though it's by far the best Priest card of the whole Karazhan adventure, I had to cut it out eventually because of a little technicality.

Holy Nova and Excavated Evil: If Priests needed board clears, they wouldn't have removed Lightbomb without giving us anything in return. And we already have Shadow Word: Horror anyway.

Djinni of Zephyrs seems great on paper because you can silence two of your own minions with only one spell! Amazing. But it's too risky to play it along with Power Word: Tentacles, sorry.

Mulligan:

Just keep all 1, 2 and 3 drops. Maybe 4 drops with The Coin.

Keeping cards that are more expensive is a bit of a waste as you won't live long enough to play them anyway.

Bonusses:

I already wrote the full guide, but here are still some incentives for you if you want some bonus content:

10 likes: Northshire Cleric is removed from the game
20 likes: Cabal Shadow Priest is removed from the game
30 likes: A photo of Ben Brode playing darts with an Anduin target
40 likes: Power Word: Shield is removed from the game
50 likes: Priest class is removed from the game altogether (I mean, officially)
