WARNING
This deck recquires skills
I like testing new decks outside of the meta and make them good (becouse im pissed off about control warrior, aggro shaman , midrange hunter ecc...) . This is a miracle rogue with Malygos as finisher but we have also Elise Starseeker (if you had a bad curve against a control warrior and he has too much armour ) , to be honest i never played monkey but i feel better having 2 win condition ( and youll draw your deck so fast) .
I dont wanna make a guide , this is not a deck for beginners. If you play standard as me and you hate playng the well known 3-4 decks try this one .
My winrate is high with this deck and problably if tempostorm would consider it would be at least a tier 2 deck ... ENJOY IT!! (and give me ur feedback)
Hi lorfn, thanks for the cool deck. The only two cards I don't have are Skulker and Thalnos, what do you think about filling at least one of the two slots with Conceal because of Thaurissan and Auctioneer? And if I put in one I was doubting whether a Huckster would be good for early game and maybe getting a spell or Sprint because it combos quite nicely with Prep. I would love to hear your opinion on the matter :)
hi man .. the problem is thaat you have to test them .. btw i think that a deadly pison and one earthen ring farseer would be good , you could try double doomsayer too that nobody has never played in rogue . Btw conceal could be good someyimes but is too situational in this deck and sprint its too much with auctioner too . So try a earthen ring farseer and a deadly poison al let me know if it works .
bye 👊🏻
Thanks for your reply :) I've put in poison and farseer and will tell you how it goes after a decent sample in casual mode. This may take a few days because I won't have much time to play the coming days.
Played 30 games in Casual, won 18 (and had an epic 10 game winstreak). Notable matchups: Druid (4-0), Warlock (4-0), Shaman (0-3), Paladin (0-2). Won 8/13 of matches with coin, 10/17 of matches without coin.
I think it's really important to know which cards are still in your deck, I use an excel sheet for this in which I can click a cell with a cardname to make it change colour. The main reason is because of the second wincondition , there are games in which the auctioneers just don't come and the opponent is steadily building a pressence on the board. You can only make a solid decision that you're going to 'waste' the eviscerates and preps and go for the monkey if you have a good understanding of the amount of damage left in your deck.
When it comes to the changes I made to your version I'm not very umpressed by Farseer I think, maybe putting in an oracle instead is a good idea. This gets you the extra card draw you may need (Shiv isn't really carddraw as I see it as a finisher) and it may trick the opponent into thinking you are a mill rogue.
Don't think the (way I pilot the) deck is good enough now to take it to the ladder so I will keep playing casual with oracle in it, I'l be back ;)
Played another 15 games today with the only change with your list Skulker -> Barnes (I have Thalnos now). Barnes is pretty good (9 out of 13 options have some kind of added value). Haven't played the map to the monkey once in these 15 games so I think I'm going to change Elise to Huckster for Barnes value. Played 8 games in rank 9 (won 2) and 7 in rank 8 (won 3), lost 3/3 to both Rogue and Hunter but I made some mistakes since I'm still getting used to the deck, I'll be back ;)
Cool .. but its not bad , nobody plays around otk rogue haha
