Hello fellow hearthstoners!
Thanks for all the support guys it really means alot, unfortunately I wont be able to play more hs this season due to travelling etc. So I can not upload my winrate but I could do a mulligan guide against all classes if you are interrested.
First of all I dont take any cred for making the deck I just want to share it with you all. So I went from legend 946 to 97 with this creation of midrange hunter.
I think this version of midrange hunter is really strong so I suggest you try it out for yourself.

General mulligan guide:
With coin: Keep 1-2 and 3 drops. Always keep Fiery Bat, Kings Elekk, and Huge Toad if you have a good starting hand already you can keep Animal Companion or Carrion Grub.
Without Coin: You need to be a little bit more aggressive with your mulligan you really want Fiery Bat into Huge Toad or Kings Elekk.
I usually keep Quick Shot if I know that my opponent plays an aggressive deck and keeps alot of cards in his starting hand to prevent him from taking over the board.
VS Control: -1x Unleash the Hounds +1x Deadly Shot
Here is a video made by Acandianbacon showcasing the deck.
Note: Recently changed my name here on Hearthpwn from Ganja_Farfar to BroderTuck.
Feel free to add me on battle.net for questions or further proof -BroderTuck #2693
I am going to try to put in a King Krush for the Carrion Grub. Because I have a golden King Krush. I will see how it works out
Anti-aggro version: -1 Flame Juggler +1 Explosive Trap
I'm not sure if you'd want to tech out Flame Juggler for Explosive Trap, as both are good cards against aggro.
I know, but Trap is much better with Eaglehorn Bow synergy. Flame Juggler battlecry is so fuckin random.
What are your thoughts on getting rid of a 2 drop minion for 1 more high threat minion like rag?
But.. control warriors :x
Warrior doesn't usually fare too well against a lot of hunter decks because a decent amount of their ability to clear the board relies on their weapons, so they take a lot of extra damage.
ResidentSleeper
No one asked, but I was bored to death with the annoying connection problems I got this weekend so I made it. http://www.hearthpwn.com/decks/591417-definitive-cancerhunter-to-golden-epic
It's been a while since i enjoyed myself a good game of mid hunter and this deck is pretty damn good at what it tries to accomplish!
here is a video showcasing the deck and I really enjoyed recording it Gotta love Call of the wild :D
Thanks man it means a lot :D you can embed it in the description if you want as a tribute of sorts XD
Is it you the swedish grandfather king
Gonna thank that elise control warrior for free legend!
Ok. I really liked this deck and tried a lot with it - that's why I'm spamming so hard here. 60% winrate (at least 10% of games I lost because of obvious missplays) with 150 games. So clearly it's reliable. I made some changes and consolidate them, and I'd like to discuss it.
First of all: Carrion Grub is out. He's amazing in t3 into Houndmaster, but you have so many cards to drop at turn 3! And it's a card you will never keep (neither will keep Houndmaster) - basically it's a dead answer or a delayed combo. Carrion Grub had a deviation of -42,9% in matches I played him (32: 11 wins, 21 losses). I took him off and put a Freezing Trap. Worked wonders: Against control, it's virtually a second Deadly Shot, while against aggro it's a reliable board turning. Deviation around 4,3%. Keep in mind that it's usually a bad idea to play against battlecry based decks (Shamen, basically).
The second change I made was finding a space for Tundra Rhino (took a Houndmaster off). It didn't work well, so I put back the Houndmaster and took Unleash the Hounds. It went better than the first try, but still didn't amuse me (deviation of -14.7%), so I recommend not to play Rhino this deck - it's too slow and the 2 damage you would get is easily matched by UTH or Houndmaster, the only possible replaces here since Stampeding Kodo is staple against midrange shamen (badmatch) and Doomsayers.
As I was forced to play 2 UTH in a warrior based meta, I chose to take wonders from this card and trade 2 Flame Jugglers into 2 Knife Jugglers. This simply wrecked zoo and that Divine Pally, both badmatches, and won me 25 of 32 matches I played them. I strongly recommend you roll 2 Knife Jugglers - it has so much synergy with Infested Wolf, Savannah Highmane or even Call of the Wild, besides the UTH obvious combo.
I did try N'zoth for a few games and, well, nop. Played around 10 games with him in my hand, dead, and never got the chance to actually summon it - died first (or Call of the Wild'ed into win) in every single try.
In all, this deck goes very well against standard meta decks: it rekts Aggro Shamman and Dragon Warrior (10 games against each and 10 wins), goes very well against C'Thun and N'Zoth, the Corruptor decks (around 80% win), has enough tech cards to win mirrors (12-4 'till now), have a 50% win rate against tempo mage, aggro pally, token druid and zoolock (whoever starts better wins) and has a really tough time against Control and Midrange Shamen, as their minions outtempo us. Rogues and priests are an incognite: I did vey well against some and lost really bad against some. The other decks I didn't mention I haven't faced yet.
So it's an easy, fun and very opponent-infuriating deck. I want to thank Ganja_farfar for the list - it was the first deck that made me play Midrange Hunter in 3k wins of Hearthstone.
If someone wants, I can make an in-depth tutorial against each of decks I played against, since I record my matches and learn a lot from my mistakes, in a proper post for it.
Awesome deck and awesome suggestions, i had had a terrible season and then went on a 10win streak with this deck before my first loss. (From rank 15 to 11)
I think my current record with this deck is 16-5 which is incredible. The decks that have crushed me were two mages and one hunter with Sylvanas that i couldn't manage.
Great deck.
you could add [card]N'Zoth, the Corruptor[/card] since you run that many deathrattle minions.
Hmm... Not that many and the deathrattles are just common, and it would slow down the deck a bit, but may be worth trying. Will test and post the results.
maaaaaaaaaaaaaaan chiiiiiiiiiiiiill xxD in wich server are you playing mate? :)
