Is that why Yogg Druid typically has the highest overall win rate at Legend ranks? It counters pretty much every Warrior deck there is, and Warrior is roughly 30% of the ladder at higher ranks.
My list is; - 2 Whispers of the Old Gods
- 1 Onyxia
+ 1 Azure Drake
+ 1 Emperor Thaurissan
+ 1 Ancient of War
Is this ok ?
Thanks for helping.
wth this is what makes the deck really good and emperor barely has any vaule
Hi all, I'm currently at 4 on NA (hopefully on my may to legend XD). Wanted to post my experience with this deck as I think it may help.
I typically play several different decks at a time depending on the meta. This season I've played zoo and aggro shaman from 17->10. Dragon warrior and c'thun druid from 10->7, then this deck from 6->4.
The reason I used different decks at different stages was to ensure the most suitable choice for the meta at that level. I'll also say that I tried this deck at all these different levels and it didn't start working consistently for me until I got to rank 6.
I used almost the same deck (-onyxia +finley) about 6 weeks ago and got totally pwned with about a 30% win rate.
Meta seems pretty fragmented to me right now, and your success with this deck will depend on the the matchups that are most common at your level. I'll say that this has been my most successful deck 6+ but it royally sucked until I got past rank 7. Hope this helps some people.
I completely agree!
I myself just switched to a hybrid hunter deck to get past the low levels of the ladder (which wasn't possible with this druid deck).
Very nice and most importantly a very FUN deck. Best agaisnt control I would say. Not many decks can clear you board 4 times (Violet teacher's token x 2 + WoOG x 2). Im missing Cenarius and replace it with Emperor and it is doing fine so far.
Maybe include Emperor to play Fandral and Wisps in one turn?
What is your opinion on Force of Nature and Mounted Raptor? The Raptor is really sticky.
Tried a few dozen games and just couldn't get it to work, control decks clear the tokens instantly, regardless of health, and I'm playing from behind in every match versus aggro/midrange, and unless I get lucky with yogg I feel like I don't have a chance.
I am missing these three.
Wisps - craft it or don't play. It seems core.
Cenarius - I think Ragnaros - I know he makes no tokens but he is the best there is if you are equal or ahead on the board.
Onyxia - So many decks are using this now I think it must be the next card I craft. Replacement would be Rafaam. Once again requires you to be equal or ahead on board. Onyxia is great when behind but can also be a nothing when Ghoul+executes appears from opponent's hand.
Yogg Saron? But why tho.
The deck has 22 spells in it?
its a really good card to come back with?
Its just overall a solid card?
But why not?
Is it a good card? I guess I've been infected by the YouTube highlights. I just don't play it, too random for me.
I've dropped Yogg a lot of times and it has won me games that I was sure to loose. Yes it can hurt you as much as your opponent but when you're about to loose you might as well roll the dice and hope for a come back.
I thought so initially. But after playing it for a while now I feel it is the most powerful end game card there is. Most of the time it says clear your opponents board + draw a bunch of cards. Sometimes it is much better than that even - giving you tokens, life or direct damage to opponents. Occasionally it Pyroblasts you twice and plays Astral Communion but write those games off to ones you weren't winning anyway if you swapped it for another end game card.
Is Raven Idol replaceable or i can't play the deck without it?
What are good options?
I cant play that deck because I am missing all legendaries of it lol.
Just another question: what statistic tool you use for HS in that Imgur screenshot? looks really good.
Thanks so I am just too dumb to find these deep statistics in the HDT. Ah I need to register me too see this statistics in the Web dashboard etc right? (I am not so long in this game, sorry for asking.)
onyxia its worth craft? nice deck :)
