A cheap and fast deck that I built and wanted to share with you. Its fun and consistent and theres a lot of synergy between cards. I went from rank 13 to 6 in a day with a 78,4% win rate.
Some tips: usually mulligan for rallying blade and cheap minions like argent squire, selfless hero, bilefin, loot hoarder etc. Use divine favor to refill your hand since you have a lot of super cheap minions and its especially good against the slower control decks. You can save wisp for guaranteed value from uldaman, argus, blessing of kings, steward etc, or just play it for a super agressive starting hand when you have divine favor ready. Also, be always aware of the positioning of the minions for argus. Against decks that play big taunts, saving uldaman is a good solution. Sequencing is also important in this deck for cards like rallying blade, steward of the darkshire, selfless hero etc; so plan your trades and buffs with this in mind. For example, always hero power after steward of the darkshire and use divine favor before trading with loot hoarder.
I tested some other cards in this deck like dire wolf, finley, blessing of might, hand of protection, noble sacrifice, aldor or second truesilver, which didnt work out well, but feel free to try your changes and improve the deck. Give me your recommendations and opinions about the deck.
This decklist is budget friendly, but if you have it, you can add the big finisher this list lacks, for example you can cut second horserider and seal of champion and put leeroy with ragnaros/gormok/sea giant.
Have fun with the mighty wisp. (or tinyfin, for those asking :) )
Update: Im currently rank 4 with it, wisp legend hype
It's worth trying, but I think the Zero mana cost of Wisp is the sole reason it's in the deck. No matter what, if you can play Steward of Darkshire or Keeper of Uldaman, you can get instant value AND tempo the turn you play them.
WIth sword of +1/+1 and darkshire protector, the spam of free minions gives you a huge tempo advantage
i not have wisp
I replaced one Rallying Blade for one Sword of Justice. It really helps to give the extra minions who don't have divine a good buff.
Summoned minions (such as the harvest golem deathrattle minion or the recruits from that 5 mana spell that summons 5 1/1s) won't get the divine shield, pretty sure it's not intended and bugged
What are your good/bad matchups? This is a really interesting take, good job!
I think that Noble Sacrifice is way better then Wisp.
I like to feel the fire burning, when someone tries to kill my Steward and pops the secret -_-
And Leeroy Jenkins is a musthave here, your list doesnt have enough finishing damage. Any zoo deck should have otk combo with at least 10dmg.
My variant:
I don't think you need Leeroy Jenkins, you can use Reckless Rocketeer instead.
If you could reliably add a few extra cards to elevate the deck into a tier 2 or 3 position, which cards would they be? Also, is Muster a decent card to add? I could see a lot of value with Steward?
Yes, yes this is good.
Interesting take on the divine aggro pally archetype. Not totally sure I'd pick wisp or tinyfin over Noble Sacrifice but I can see the rationale behind this choice (since it's much easier to get guaranteed value from steward this way). I have 3 questions though:
1) Why double Consecration? As a hedge against midrange shammy and zoo-style decks?
2) Why no Twisted Worgen? Great card in a list like this since it synergizes with steward, can't be targeted until after it attacks, provides a buff target, and can easily trade up with many 3-drops if needed.
3) Have you considered Leeroy Jenkins as a finisher? Been toying with him myself and have had some decent results using him. Not sure what he would replace here though.
Thanks for sharing the list and good luck!
I am also considering putting in a Leeroy Jenkins maybe replacing one Consecration. Control warrior had so many times only 1-3 life left before start tanking up with justicar then it's a straight win for them.
Or another Blessing of Kings maybe?.
is it hard to win against a mage?
I replace x1 Defender of Argus for Gormok the Impaler
How does do against warriors?
I have 8 out 8 wins against warriors with this deck
Why only one Steward of Darkshire?
Add twilight drake, he work with Steward of Darkshire.
