Summoning Stone Mage by Strifecro
What two cards give you the craziest RNG imaginable? Summoning Stone and Yogg-Saron, you say? Well why don't we put them in the same deck and see what happens!
5-0 at rank 14. Struggle a bit against aggro deck. Control matchup is super fun :XD
Cabalist generates so much value and so much fun :))
Not in the competitive side of stuff, but definitely a deck that can amass you some wins, I highly recommend taking it for a spin.
supreme yolo deck
Is there any replacement for Yogg-Saron, Hope's End?
i dont think so
Having a lot of fun and success with this deck. Made one change. Dropped a Cabalist's Tome and added Pyroblast which has been a key finisher.
here a video i have with the deck except i added Elise
Rank 20 - 0 Stars .... Let's see if Mage can help me out of here.
EDIT: Jub, going great so far - 5 - 1 ... Until you face 4 Warriors in a row, that will just STOMP on your face.
loving this deck. Just note that Apprentice and Emperor have poor synergy with Summoning Stone because Stone uses the discounted mana cost of the spell and not the base cost. If you play correctly you will be summoning a lot of wisps haha.
yup, agree.... getting those wisps aint too helpful
Any tips on what turn(s) I should be using a Doomsayer?
It always depends on your opponents plays/deck.
In general doomsayer is pretty strong later on when your opp. has a big board and you can drop Frost Nove or Blizzard plus the Doomsayer and have a more or less guaranteed board clear (if he has no spells/weapons ready of course).
Against more aggressive decks it's pretty fine to play the doomsayer early on on turn 2/3 to prevent him from spamming the board with his small minions. You can delay his game (he can`t play minions when he is not able to clear the doomsayer) while also clearing the board.
Seem to be losing vs more aggressive decks and control paladins.
Had to try this deck for myself and the result was pretty satisfying: Gameplay video
Games take a while with the deck but worth it when you play Yogg in the end and then realize that he has brought you victory! ^^

Good vids, thanks for posting.
Very fun, and actually capable of winning! +1
that will be hard. this deck doesnt run enough early game creatures to establish board control,
and at this point doomsayer comes into play. You either slam him on almost "naked" board to prevent your opponent from playing more creatures, but it also synergizes with frostnova on turn 5 to clear the board for turn 5.
I would say the deck doesnt work without doomsayer. :)
Is Bloodmage Thalnos better than Sorcerer's ApprenticeEdit: I was thinking about the wrong card. Should I replace something with Bloodmage Thalnos?
no, their effect is so much different.
Apprentice allows you to cast more spells per turn which might result in more summoned minions :)
